This beautiful house has been restored to perfection by the owner Dimitris and his team. The location in the tiny village of Ano Podina is calm and peaceful, with a coffee terrace giving gorgeous views over the nearby mountains/sunsets. Monodendri, one of the more popular towns with tourists, is only a 15 min drive away. The hotel is surrounded by incredible spots for hiking over mountains or along rivers. Our rooms were sparkling clean, the beds comfortable, and the staff were kind, friendly and professional at all times. Genuinely, I think this was one of the loveliest places I have ever stayed. We visited in March, and the weather/temperature was perfect for hiking/exploring nature. Thank you so much to the Ameliko Zagori team for a wonderful visit!

A very nice clean out of the way hotel, owner is very attentive and helpful. Just acouple of minutes walk from restaurants and taverns with great views, breakfast was home cooked and plentiful.

EVERYTHING!!! The host “Spidoula” is absolutely marvelous! From her warm welcome, to her thoughtful guidance for our visits in the area, the amazingly good breakfast, and everything in between. This was by far our best stay in the whole of mainland Greece!! And with cherry of top, the hotel is walking distance away from a really good restaurant (5min) and driving distance (15min) from supermarkets. The Vikos Gorge is just 20-45min depending on where you go and the beautiful Aaos gorge is also 15-20min away! We totally recommend booking your stay with Spidoula!

In one word: Amazing! The location, the atmosphere, the breakfast, and the room were all wonderful and beyond expectations. Andrea, the host, is such a great guy, super helpful and friendly. Very nice apartment fully equipped with everything you need for a long stay. We spent 5 nights here and enjoyed every moment. The apartment is perfect for a family. If you like cooking, you will find all you need there. The host is great, very responsive and informative. The apartment is located in the middle of the area and all the main site seeing places are within 30 minutes drive. Definitely recommended for families. There is a very nice lake 10 minutes away where you can spend a couple of hours easily.

    Agios Minas is a small old town in the Vikos area.

    Agios Minas is a small old town in the Vikos area. It has the advantage of being very quiet but at the same time close to Aristi, Vikos, Papigo and other beautiful towns and sights of the region. The views from various vantage points in the village are truly spectacular. There are various fine restaurants nearby including in Aristi, Voidomatis and Vikos; there are the famous gorges and walks a short drive away: and last but not least there are the famous bridges and several river swimming opportunities nearby.
