When we arrived at Villa Milan we were overwhelmed by the countryside location, the large pool and the sea views. It was so easy to relax there, but it was also in close proximity to the water park, beaches, shops and restaurants. We had a hired car and went out every day to explore the island, which is not large, so we covered a lot, and the roads are quiet. The villa had everything we needed and more; spacious rooms, tv, wifi, well equipped kitchen, bbq, air con, fans... and so on. As a family of 5, we really did have a fantastic week here, swimming in the pool and at beaches, the waterpark close by, exploring and of course eating lots of lovely local food. We stayed at Mastichari and it proved to be a great choice for the second week of August because there was always some breeze comparing to other places were the heat was unbearable. The beach is long and sandy but has also a lot of seaweed. It’s a small place, nothing exceptional but nice connection to other islands and for touring around Kos.
