We had a fantastic two-week stay in the one bed house at The Seasons of Nickolas. Akis, the host, is incredibly welcoming and generous. He made us feel very at home and was there to help with anything we could need. The accommodation is a perfect size for a couple and we were very comfortable there. The kitchen is well equipped and the shaded outside patio is a great place to eat and spend evenings relaxing, with a lovely view of the mountains. The house is a few minutes' walk from the seaside town Aggia Effimia, which has lots of restaurants to eat in or have a drink. There are also two bakeries and a few convenience stores, which is perfect to have on your doorstep. The location is also perfect for exploring the island and within easy reach of other towns, beaches and other sites to explore. However, you will need a car to easily travel around the island. The accommodation is exactly as described and we would recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing, comfortable stay in a beautiful location. We had a fantastic stay and really didn't want to leave!

Lovely apartment centrally located, just a short walk to restaurants and the sea. Spotlessly clean and with so many extras, drinks in the fridge, and a bottle of wine in the room. Really comfortable bed and good quality sheets and towels. Fabulous host Evi, who was very welcoming. Gteat value for money.

Once more a wonderful stay at Makis! We enjoyed the stunning views! The room was clean and there were also some interesting changes in the kitchen, the bathroom and the bedroom. New, comfortable beds and mattresses (perfect for me that I have back issues). The new lounge by the Reception was a cosy corner to enjoy a beer and relax.

Location was great... unit was one level above the street with a decent balcony for all of us to sit around the table. Bedrooms were a good size with closets and walkout french doors to the balcony with shutters. One block to the pier and all the shops, restaurants etc. you would expect. Super market very close by along with bakery, coffee shops and even a local bar. SUPER nice host!

I had a wonderful stay, Panos and Effy are such friendly and helpful hosts. I enjoyed talking to them and sharing coffee. They helped me rent a car and looked after anything I could need. The room was perfect with a lovely balcony and a view of the sea, with the garden down below. Only a few minutes walk to the main strip, the location was perfect. I would definitely return, it was wonderful.

    It is so pretty, still has it's traditional Greek charm.

    It is so pretty, still has it's traditional Greek charm. Great restaurants and lovely beach for snorkelling on the way to Paradise Restaurant. Sea crystal clear and warm. We visited here 34 years ago and yes it has changed but not too much and did not disappoint. Could have stayed for months! The locals were very welcoming. Can't wait to return.

    I made a lot of research before choosing where to stay in Kefalonia. I think it it the best location. the distances to the main beaches are short. it is absolutely amazing the entire island. family and pet friendly. amazing small beaches as well. good food.

    Ayia Evfimia is a small port town.

    Ayia Evfimia is a small port town. It has some lovely little beaches which offer good snorkelling. The bars and restaurants are good quality and the people very friendly. It was pleasant to walk along the sea front in the evenings. It's a good base to visit other beaches and towns (you need a car). I managed to find a quiet road to run in the early morning, but it's all uphill!

    Wonderfully furnished property, providing everything you need for a relaxing stay. Offers peace and comfort away from crowded places. Almost daily we visited the nearby traditional tavernas, offering delicious, local cuisine. Probably is good to be with own or rented car in order to be more flexible in transport over the island.

    We liked that it was close to Myrtos beach and also...

    We liked that it was close to Myrtos beach and also Antisamos beach. What we did not lile was the neighborhood since it was too quiet at night. Next time we would prefer somewhere in Fiskardo, Argostoli or around Argostoli.

    Lovely little resort. Just what we were looking for. Small and fairly quiet but lots of lovely restaurants and a few bars. Not too busy. Perfect for us. The only down side was the nearest beaches were very small and not really great. We had to go into Sami twice to find a good beach with sunbeds.

    Our first stay in Kefalonia and exceeded expectations. Ayia Efimia is a lovely place to stay. The owners of Fortini Apartments were great and very welcoming. Cats were so cute and had the best time! Hill to the apartments was steep but definitely doable driving and on foot.

    Very peaceful village and apartments within walking distance of dining and shops. Super helpful owner and very high housekeeping standards. Perfect if you are looking for peace and quiet. Lovely gardens to relax in if you don't fancy trying to navigate rocks down to beach.
