Perfect stay! Kefalonia is an incredibly beautiful island with the most beautiful beaches in Greece. We absolutely loved our stay at Kefalonia bay palace. Upon arrival we were upgraded to a 2 bedroom villa with a private pool. So grateful! Perfect location with the most stunning sea views, clean, great buffet breakfast, and warm hospitality from the lovely hardworking staff. Overall we are so glad we chose to stay at kefalonia Bay Palace in Agia Effimia, a beautiful picturesque beachside village with lots of taverns, bars, shops etc. The best location for exploring the island! Can’t wait to come back!

Great location for tavernas, (lots of them just a very short walk across the road), Terreza pizza best chips in town! lovely pizza too! Bakery, supermarket, ferries, (noisy sometimes, didn’t really spoil anything, just making people aware, it’s main port for freight, as well as foot passengers, cyclists on island hopping tours. The marina is full of nice yachts, sailing boats. Beach is pebbles. Balcony with sea views, patio balcony to rear Mountain View’s, south facing so plenty of sunshine, if it got too hot, went to front balcony in shade, watch the world go by. Ithaca is one of the nearby islands you can see from the port of Sami, you can get a lovely day tour to Ithaca from Sami on a mini bus, we went with Avgerinos, office in Sami on sea front, lovely people.

It is so pretty, still has it's traditional Greek charm.

It is so pretty, still has it's traditional Greek charm. Great restaurants and lovely beach for snorkelling on the way to Paradise Restaurant. Sea crystal clear and warm. We visited here 34 years ago and yes it has changed but not too much and did not disappoint. Could have stayed for months! The locals were very welcoming. Can't wait to return.

I made a lot of research before choosing where to stay in Kefalonia. I think it it the best location. the distances to the main beaches are short. it is absolutely amazing the entire island. family and pet friendly. amazing small beaches as well. good food.

Ayia Evfimia is a small port town.

Ayia Evfimia is a small port town. It has some lovely little beaches which offer good snorkelling. The bars and restaurants are good quality and the people very friendly. It was pleasant to walk along the sea front in the evenings. It's a good base to visit other beaches and towns (you need a car). I managed to find a quiet road to run in the early morning, but it's all uphill!

Wonderfully furnished property, providing everything you need for a relaxing stay. Offers peace and comfort away from crowded places. Almost daily we visited the nearby traditional tavernas, offering delicious, local cuisine. Probably is good to be with own or rented car in order to be more flexible in transport over the island.

We liked that it was close to Myrtos beach and also...

We liked that it was close to Myrtos beach and also Antisamos beach. What we did not lile was the neighborhood since it was too quiet at night. Next time we would prefer somewhere in Fiskardo, Argostoli or around Argostoli.

Lovely little resort. Just what we were looking for. Small and fairly quiet but lots of lovely restaurants and a few bars. Not too busy. Perfect for us. The only down side was the nearest beaches were very small and not really great. We had to go into Sami twice to find a good beach with sunbeds.

A lovely apartment a short stroll from the center of Agia Efimia. The hosts live next to the apartments and are super friendly and helpful. The apartment itself is 2 storey, well equipped and spacious with lovely balconies overlooking the valley and down to the sea. The pool is shared with one other apartment (then there's a 2nd pool for the other 2 apartments) and was also clean and spacious with plenty of sunbeds.

We have spent 8 days in these apartments with a family of 4 people having 2 small children, and it was a lovely time! Everything was perfect regarding the accommodations and service, comfortable rooms well equipped with regular cleaning, convenient balcony and enough privacy. Wish to say special thanks to the wonderful owner Mirka,such a cute and mindful person! Absolutely recommend this place!

Ayia Evfimia is a nice village located by the sea in a convenient spot to explore the entire island of Kefalonia. The studio was clean, well equipped and decorated beautifully. Comfortable bed, excellent shower, mirrored windows. The place is located just few minutes’ walk to the village center. Maria is super kind and cared for every request we had. Couldn't recommend enough!

Wow wow wow. I wont writr too much because i want a place there next year! But, it's an awesome villa with great facilities. New, very clean, my boys couldnt leave the pool, we sat with a glass of local wine on the porch looking at the calm waves after beautiful days in kefalonia. Thank you guys for an outstanding experience in the beautiful quiet Aghia Effimia

we had an amazing time at Sweet Home of Kefalonia! The house was equipped with everything ur heart desire and even more. Spiros, the host, magnificent! Supermarkets very close, Myrtos beach 8 mins by car! The house is new and modern and very comfortable. the most comfortable beds in Greece!!!We loved everything about it!! Thank u, Spiros!
