Probably the nicest - most tasteful, spacious, comfortable, clean - pool area I have used, with sea view. Plentiful pool towels, freely available for use. The bedding was new, class A. Excellent chef on site, fantastic choice of drinks & food.

Georgia is super kind host, we had late or early arrival at 01:00 am and she waited for us, even helped to organise taxi to pick us up from the Airport (price was 50 Eur). Big and spaceous family two bedroom apartment with big terrace that had everything we needed. Breakfast was versatile and delicious. And the Pool is fantastic, clean. Everything is better than on the pictures. Renting a car is almost a must, because it is located uphill with a nice sea view. Just book, you wont regret it.

There was nothing not to love about our stay. Stunning view from the balcony, calm setting yet just a few minutes walk to the main road and beach. Extremely well furnished apartment and kitchen, wonderful pool, fantastic hosts. Thanks for everything!

This beautiful apartment is in an ideal location, with everything you need — and more. It might sound a bit funny, but we loved the duvet, especially since previous apartments didn’t have them (in February). The stunning beach is just a 3-minute walk away. The host is incredibly kind and gave great recommendations for local spots to visit. We highly recommend choosing Vila Iremia in Corfu!

Quiet neighbourhood, great view to the sea from the terrace, clean, well designed, all what's needed was in place (equipment in the kitchen including dishwasher, washing machine, air-conditioning, towels, tv with streaming apps useful when it was too hot to go out). Very nice owners. Restaurants and beach quite close. The way from the beach back to the apartment was quite sleepy which is a good exercise and guarantees beautiful views.

Excellent location and a beautiful room with a spacios balcony. Nicely renovated with all the amenities, including modern stove, hair dryer, etc. Each time I was entering the room, I had a really warm feeling seeing the beauty and all the nice touches in it. Plus I really enjoyed the balcony with morning coffees and evening glass of wine. It is right at the bus stop, next to the best restaurant Lord Byron, 5 min walk to two beaches - the main one, and the small and more private one. There are three supermarkets, all of them are within a short walk. Also an easy walk to the best fish restaurant in the area -Glyfa. Wonderful and very welcoming owner - Adriana really takes care of the people! And it is very QUIET! Despite of the proximity to the main road. So one can sleep with the windows open. Beautiful garden at the back of the building.

    Pluses:

    Pluses: - beatiful beach with crystal clear water and lush greenery around; - stunning nature and landscapes; - amazing infrastructure: you will get your water, coffee, cocktails and food in the amounts you need, there are toilets and even a beach shower (which is rare for Corfu). You will even get daily fresh fruit delivery (we wanted this and were lucky to be offered this by a street seller); - not super crowded, but reservation for sunbeds might be necessary. Minuses: - Umbrellas offered for renting are not adjustable and might not provide you with the shade you need during the day; - It's very hard to firmly fix your own umbrella in the pebble beach. The wind at some point just blows it away and you are left without shade for the rest of the day; - motor boats, water motorbikes are all around in that place which poorly affects the ecology and decreases air quality (which is important since this is your escape from dirty cities and you are looking to recreate); - car traffic is crazy and you will have to be very careful moving around the village, as there is no pedestrian areas - you just move together with the cars and buses on the same road.

    Barbati is very small. Everything is walking distance. It is ideal for a beach holiday and just swimming, sunbathing, eating and drinking. There are several smart bar-restaurants on the beach with a choice of meals at around €15-20. Barbati is on the bus route to other destinations so if you want a busier feel you can hop on the bus to Ipsos where you'll find more restaurants, ATMs, a doctor, pharmacies, grocery stores and travel shops for booking day trips. You can go north to Nissaki or Kassiopi or south to Corfu Town to pick up buses to other destinations, visit museums and historic sites or just hang out.

    Barbati is a special place .stunning beach , crystal clear...

    Barbati is a special place .stunning beach , crystal clear water, mountains behind you . You can watch the sunrise on an almost deserted beach and go to fab bars/tavernas later in the day / eve . Plenty of shade if you need it from ancient olive trees or loungers you can pay for . Totally perfect for us (2 adults 2 teens ).

    We stayed for 2 weeks and enjoyed the location of the villa. Barbati had 2 beaches one very small which was superb and a larger one with all the facilities. Barbati offered a number of good restaurants and there were plenty of supermarkets. Perfect place for just getting away from it, reminded me of being in Amalfi!

    Its a lovely quiet place for families.

    Its a lovely quiet place for families. I hadn't realised however, how mountainous Corfu is. The walk down and up to the beach/main street is quite a killer, especially in 38 degree heat! I wish that I had twigged earlier that all the restaurants do take away, when we did then we ate in our apartment as none of the restaurants have air con. My daughter really struggled with the heat and although the restaurants all have open sides, there was no breeze and it was extremely hot even when sitting under fans. We didn't rent a car on this trip but I would definitely do so if returning. If going to the Waterpark, on some days a bus from the Aquapark passes through Barbati and is much cheaper than a taxi. It takes about an hour to get there and was hassle free. For boat trips, we went with www.asterasboatcruises.gr. They came and picked us up for no extra charge at about 9am (other boat cruises go much earlier) and took us to Dassia. Marilena was super friendly and helpful, we had a great cruise round the North-East part of Corfu.

    Liked Barbati the first time we stayed years ago and...

    Liked Barbati the first time we stayed years ago and returned last September. Liked the laid back atmosphere and the restaurants and scenery and decided to return again in June 2024. The only issue with Barbati is there are no pavements and it is a very busy road, not suitable for children to walk along in my opinion..

    The host left fresh fruits and beverages in the fridge for us when we arrived and that was super kind and it made a difference. We’ve felt that they really cared for us to have the best experience in Corfu while staying at their place. The house itself has, literally, everything you might need, both inside in the kitchen and rooms and in the garden and swimming pool. It is a beautiful place and if I come back to Corfu, I’ll make sure we go back to Villa Artemis. Thabk you for everything!

    It was wonderful stay in Alex-Giannis! The best host ever - Maria will help you in all your questions, also you will be glad to visit her shop near the apartment, highly recommend you. The location is just in 2 min to the amazing beach Barbati and one of the coolest beach bar on Corfu. The sea view from balcony is spectacular, you can enjoy coffee with croissants there in the morning and watch the beautiful sunsets in the evening. Best value for money I ever had on Booking! Come and enjoy!

    Most amazing views. You could look at it forever. I was lucky in that they gave me an apartment looking out over pool and sea. Good communication to check all was ok..and Maria was so helpful in sorting out a stay for me on the other side of the Corfu, giving me a lift over etc.
