The place to catch the railway up the mountains to Kalavryta. It also has a limited rail service to Athens and is close the the main Pelopponees motorway. It is very much off the tourist map and the town offers little in the way of attractions. It is however ideal for those wishing a quiet stay. The property Is a 5 minute walk from the railway station and a similar distance from the seafront. There is a very good supermarket just beyond the railway station. We stayed in a bottom floor apartment with one bedroom, a bathroom and a large open living and kitchen area. The property was very clean and the shower in the bathroom provided plenty of hot water. The rooms are renovated not long ago and in general everything looks very neat. 15 min of walk from the Diakopto railway station to Kalavrita. There’s all useful information in the room (taxi, restaurants, emergency and etc.). The lady that welcomed and checked in us was very nice. Pets friendly place!
