It is a quiet and beautiful oasis just 10-15 minutes from Naxos town. We visited Palatiana at the beginning of August - the place was lush and green, quiet and really beautiful! The gardens are very well kept and the abundance of flowers and fruits is amazing (the figs are really tasty :)) In the morning you can hear the bells of the goats going up the mountain, the roosters, etc.A bonus was that they had their own water spring which was clean and drinkable - we didn’t need to buy drink water. The houses are very cute and very well furnished, with a small kitchenette if you want to fix quick breakfast/lunch. We were with 2 adults and 2 kids, the room was spacious enough to fit an extra bed for the little one (the older slept on the beautiful couch which is standard in the room), we had a beautiful veranda where we could have breakfast and lunch. The swimming pool is beautiful and there is enough shade from the trees. There is a small village nearby where you can go for dinner and buy some local produce (tomatoes and fruits). There is a beach not more than 1 km away, which is also very beautiful. A car is definitely a must!

All of the staff are fantastic and friendly. Really looked after us for our special occasion. Breakfast was one of the best and diverse I’ve had at a hotel. Location is perfect as it is 10mins walk from centre which is close but far enough away to be peaceful.

The hotel is very beautiful, clean and in a good location (centre in walking distance). I liked the breakfast very much, because everything was fresh, homemade and very delicious! Moreover, I would like to mention the kindness of the hotel personal. They were all so helpful and lovely and wanted to ensure that we had an amazing stay in Naxos. They gave us really good recommandations for restaurants, beaches, hikings - I really loved being there! We also rented a car which they organized for us. Thank you very much! I can only warmly recommend this place!😊

Eirini was so kind to us. It was so good, that we already miss the Appartment and Eirini! Everything is near, the beach, restaurants and only 10min by feet to reach the port of naxos. This appartment had also a jaccuzi, wich one we liked it after a long day to relax there. Thank you so much Eirini We will miss you and hopefully see you soon! i would say, is the best appartment in Naxos outhere!

We had an amazing time at Cosmos Hotel. Great location, only 3 minutes walking from the popular Plaka beach where the sea was warm even during October. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Naxos.

Very nice and spacious villa, ideal for a family of four. Very close to all the sandy beaches one should visit but staying by the pool for a swim and some relaxation was also an option. Breakfast is delivered at your door every morning by the host Vicky who was very polite and helpful at all times. Definitely recommended

    A quaint little town, with friendly locals and a beautifully maintained town. Restaurant Platia was a delicious place to eat, and good value. They had a delicious local wine to try and the hospitality was exceptional. We returned 3 times to eat there. A nice gem away from the main city of Naxos. We used electric bikes to get around. I lost the key but it only cost €25 to replace the key. So don't panic if it happens to you! (We rented them from Naxos not Galini)

    Galini and Eggares are the two nearest villages to Palatiana...

    Galini and Eggares are the two nearest villages to Palatiana. Both have taverna's and basic shopping facilities. The Stella Taverna in Eggares is particularly good. The surrounding countryside is wonderful and Amitis Beach which has The Blue Ocean Beach Bar is also a great combination. We were here in mid June '22 so the season had not quite taken off yet. Very tempted to go back!
