Lovely friendly place!
Lovely friendly place! Loads of shops for tourist tat, places to eat (the Rock Island bar has a singer or band most nights) - Michael is the door host - the staff are pleasant and friendly. FBI for food - really, surprisingly lovely! Peris for food - service can be a little slow - but food nice. Spar - quite expensive for certain things, we used A&B supermarket as well. Pebbly beach - we only went to look and take sunset photos. A slow walk into Ialysos takes about an hour, go for food there and wander the shops, it's very quirky in places! Pavements can be a little "up & down" and rough in places. You can buy cat food for the cats, they're appreciative-don't touch them though! Municipal bins for rubbish - emptied daily. Bus to Rhodes is cheap and they run well - even on Sundays! Most shops close Sundays. People are very friendly and there isn't the expectation that you'll come in to their restaurant or bar (not like in Rhodes where we felt quite hassled at times) just by checking their menu outside. There is crazy golf about 40 minutes walk away - get the bus though as it means you won't have melted by the time you get there! There is a small bar there too which is very nice to sit in and have a small refreshment. There ARE crossings on the main road (no traffic lights or pelican crossings) but just step out slowly and most drivers will stop/slow to let you cross...it can be a bit like the old arcade game "Frogger" at busy times though!Guest review byJoUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Staff in main hotel and restaurant were superb. All requests accommodated Airport transfer brilliant- no waiting Room cleanliness - spot on and staff helpful and welcoming Food - excellent in main restaurant with so much choice. The Greek Al a Carte was amazing and so filling! Entertainment - varied but the violinist was excellent and played modern songs. Very “ Bridgerton” in style , loved it . It had a lovely atmosphere and the staff were all lovely, helpful and thoughtful. The room was clean and the garden was a wonderful oasis. Every morning we looked forward to the breakfast! We arrived early in the holiday season and not all bars and restaurants were open. As a result it was quieter and therefore visit later if you want more hustle and bustle. The hotel and grounds were lovely and the beach opposite was a real bonus.The breakfasts and coffee in the morning were cold and the staff looked harassed and weren't happy if you asked for replacement hot coffee.Our room was very spacious but it was spoiled by the stained and damaged lamps.When we asked for room service it took two hours to arrive and when it did,we were in bed.The extra touches from the staff which you would expect from a 5 star hotel were not there.Guest review bymaureenUnited Kingdom

Only to learn that they are not family members. The warm, personalised, friendly staff members made our stay seems so short. No words can really justify their wonderful service. The property has all we need with great beach at our doorstep. We could not ask for more. Enjoyed our time in Rhodes. Enjoyed the great hospitality too from the hotel staff! Yannis, the host of this place is absolutely gorgeous. He provided all the information that we needed from the beginning till the end and made it available to check out later without any additional cost. The staff are quite nice, food is good. Rooms are clean. The hotel water park is geeat for kids. Don't look only the negative comments because it is only coming from few unhappy people.
