The host family were great especially the boys who came down to take us to the rooms late in the night. They even helped us to find a parking. It’s a clean new traditional Greek style apartment in a great location right on Kamari beach, with breakfast that was enjoyed by the family. Nice pool as well.

The customer service was outstanding, extremely accommodating and went above and beyond to help you with your needs. An example was when our baggage was lost at the airport and they arranged a shuttle service for us in order to retrieve our luggage. It meant the world to us and can't thank you enough!

Everything ! The view , the position on beach , quieter end) the pool , the BREAKFAST all were amazing ! The staff were super friendly and it was wonderful having the on-site bar in the afternoons . We would return everytime when we go over to Greek islands .

Excellent staff! We had red carpet treatment from arrival to departure. The staff (Dimitri) was happy to arrange transportation, tour and restaurant reservations. He knew the best spots to visit and we were not disappointed. The hotel is as beautiful as in the pictures. Beautiful rooms with great room space, with excellent housekeeping. We had a jacuzzi which was a great way to end the day. Highly recommended.

The villa was the perfect size for our family of 5—the location is within walking distance of the beach and has multiple shops, restaurants, and markets. We loved our breakfast every morning that we were able to pick out. Our kids loved the pool and our hot tub. The staff was so kind and welcoming. We were able to check in early because we had an earlier flight. They had a baby cot available. I could go on and on about how much we enjoyed this property!!!

    We loved our accommodation at thousand stars and highly recommend it. Took a private highlight tour of the island which was amazing. Negatives on Kamari include swimming at the beach which was very hazardous when entering and leaving the water due to the lava levels underfoot. Also, being constantly hassled by the same people to take a massage.

    It's not a sandy beach, but it's very beautiful.

    It's not a sandy beach, but it's very beautiful. You should have that special shoes to walk on the beach because of the little rocks. We used public transportation and it's ok. The price is fair and they have buses to all the main places of the island. We had breakfast at a small coffee shop near the hotel and it was amazing both the food and the staff. There's a street with good restaurants and many souvenir stores near the beach.

    Kamari is a fantastic destination – in our opinion, the best place to stay on Santorini. It is lively but still peaceful, with crystal-clear water and beaches covered with black pebbles. The main promenade along the sea is full of shops and restaurants. Prices are similar to other Greek islands. It is just a 10-minute drive from the airport, and there are regular buses to Fira. Taxis are more expensivem, a one-way ride to Perissa, Fira, or Oia costs €40, we ordered taxis via the Uber application. You can also take a boat from Kamari to Perissa for €8 per person – we definitely recommend trying that experience. Overall, Kamari is a much better place to stay than Perissa. The whole resort is right by the sea and has better beaches. Oia is a beautiful place, but extremely crowded, the beaches are difficult to access from the hill and will probably be expensive, we recommend just taking a trip there.

    Kamari is probably one of the only area to have beach access. BUT you need special shoes otherwise it will be a nightmare. The black sand is also deadly hot so shoes are a must. Some beach clubs like Woodoo are super nice.

    It is a great place to stay in Santorini because it is less crowded and has many nice restaurants and stores. The beach is the same as all the other beaches in Santorini with clear waters but with black pebbles.

    So many beach front restaurants our absolute favourite was Ariele which was Italian. The most incredible sea food ! The beach front walk was just beautiful. I understand the PR to try and get you in the restaurants but I don’t feel they need to do this so much. We did experience a couple of PR men who became rude when we didn’t go in. But think that’s everywhere all around the world. Kamari beach is a great place to stay. Would recommend 100%. Loved it

    It was perfect holiday in Santorini and staying in Kamari Blue Waves was the best choice for us. We enjoyed the surrounding and the hotel amenities. Beach is in 3 min walk, hotel rooms are nice, kids enjoyed the pool a lot and hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. Thank you and we hope to return some day. We can highly recommend this place!

    Treated upon arrival as family, Dimitiri and the team host a truly brilliant atmosphere. Situated a mere two minute walk from the beach and Kamari Centre, the location is perfect. All requests/needs are catered to and we couldn't stay anywhere else if we were to return to Santorini. 4 days/5 nights felt too short but this won't be forgotten.

    Me and my daughter loved our stay at Rivari Santorini Hotel. Everything was excellent. Pool is nice and big. Very clean and well kept.10 minutes walk to the beach. The staff lovely and friendly. Especially Spyros and Dora. We hope to come back next year!

    Great hotel, only about 5 minutes walk from the centre of Kamari. Staff were very nice, with great recommendations and the cocktails were delicious!! The room was cleaned everyday. Would highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Santorini!
