I recently spent a week at Spongia Hotel and Suites in Myrties, Kalymnos, and it was nothing short of amazing. The hotel's location is perfect, offering breathtaking views of Telendos island just across the water. My suite was spacious and well-equipped, with a comfortable bed and a large balcony perfect for morning coffee. However, I spent most of my time by the pool, lounging on the comfortable sun beds and soaking in the incredible views. The sunsets here are spectacular. Whether from the pool or the restaurant, watching the sun dip behind Telendos island was a nightly highlight. Speaking of the restaurant, the food was delicious, especially the fresh seafood. While I'm not a climber, I met many guests who were there for Kalymnos' famous climbing routes. The hotel's location is ideal for both relaxation and adventure. What really made my stay special was the warm hospitality. The staff were always friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. If you're looking for comfort, stunning views, and authentic Greek island charm, Spongia Hotel and Suites is the place to be. I'm already planning my return visit!

Perfect location. Near by to everything. The apartment were lovely . The bed AMAZING , lovely pillows . For nighttime there is thick blinds , bug net to have balcony doors open night time. Telendos is perfect and the owners of Afrodite going an extra mile for you. The husband has the mini market where you can find all you need. Thank you for my lovely stay .

Very comfortable, peaceful and well appointed rooms; great location in Myrties with wonderful views towards Telendos; friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was very good, served outside on a terrace overlooking the bay. There are good beaches within a very short walk and the water taxi to Telendos is nearby too.

The accommodation is nicer in reality than in the photos. Usually the opposite is the case. The point in which it dominates is privileged. The port is in the heart of the island which is alive. The hotel is there too. Next to it are 2 excellent beaches and also the hot springs. Natural spa. Around the mansion you will find fresh fish, everything you want from shopping and nightlife. Kalymnos is awake. It never sleeps, you are not bored at all hours, you simply have endless choices to do everything. The hotel is one of a kind in this location. At the same time, it is very quiet and you don't notice all this life there because you have a view of the sea and the settlement that spreads across. You don't need a car. You save a lot of money. We had a rich breakfast. Traditional and so warm made with kindness. Everything is handmade. It had been many years since my husband and I encountered such a hotel and we extended our stay. It is full every day and we were lucky that there was a last minute room for an extra day. There we met Mr. George, an excellent host. He told us about the architecture and history of the hotel. You will be enchanted. Our communication was direct from the beginning and very informative, since we knew what we would see and everything from Valia who is not in the hotel but it is like having a personal virtual assistant at all times via WhatsApp. Everything was as they presented it to us and much better. It is worth 10+++ We will see you again soon since you will be open all year round.

This is possibly our favourite hotel in Greece. The rooms are comfortable, with a fridge that keeps drinks super cold, great air con, a spacious balcony and stunning views from all sides. It’s also really peaceful. The pool area is great and well maintained with (again!) spectacular views across to Kalymnos. The staff are excellent, friendly and helpful; from arriving to be in our room, it was less than one minute. We’ll be back next year - definitely.
