From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcomed by the incredibly kind and thoughtful owner. She clearly cares deeply about her guests’ comfort and experience, and it shows in every detail. When we entered the room, we were touched to find a beautiful arrangement of local welcome treats—fresh seasonal fruits, homemade sweets, and a traditional drink. It was such a warm and generous gesture that immediately made us feel at home. The location was also perfect—just a short and pleasant walk to the beach. In the evenings, the gentle sea breeze would drift through, creating the most peaceful and calming atmosphere. It was the kind of place where you could truly unwind and enjoy every moment. Our stay was nothing short of fabulous. Every detail was thoughtful, the room was spotless and cozy, and the hospitality was exceptional. We left with wonderful memories and would return in a heartbeat. This place is truly a hidden gem, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a warm, relaxing, and memorable getaway.

Super welcoming, very service-minded and approachable staff. Top notch facilities with both indoor and outdoor gym, nice pool, spa, restaurants and private beach. We were very well taken care of from check-in to check-out and will definitely come back. We also got an awesome room upgrade! Despite the hotel being a bit remote (which actually attracted us to choose Myrion) there are plenty of family restaurants around, supermarkets and rental car companies. Very zen experience!

We love the place, the great attention to detail you have put in the hotel design and architecture, the fountains with metal structures, and the stylish rooms not very large but decorated with a lot of taste and thought. We love the breakfast area just a few meters away from the spectacular sea. We love fresh and exquisitely cooked food; we love the rich selection of fresh fruits and the taste of the coffee. We love the genuine people we have interacted with, seemingly hand-picked by business leaders with high emotional intelligence and standards. We are in love with the spectacular sea and with the beach which, although tiny is well endowed with more than enough sun beds and umbrellas. And, yeah, did I already mention that we love the sea and the beach? ;) We love how the spectacular rocky beach is hit by the waves splashing around and how the sand is temporarily or permanently overtaken by the sea water. I’ve chosen this place compared with more than 20 places and Porto Platanias Beach Luxury had the best report Quality/Price – having a discount from the Hotel + 15% discount from Booking + free Taxi offer from the airport to the hotel. We have seldom been to the same places before. However, Hotel Porto Platanias Beach Luxury is a place that we will certainly come back to. Special thanks to Dora and Marion for being very patient and helpful in organizing the trips and getting the bus schedule. Many thanks to the maid from room 206. Exceptional service 😊. Breakfast could be compared with Grecotel breakfast style. We got an upgrade when we arrived to a galaxy suite. We had our own mini pool and private terrace on the roof. Our room was beautiful, bright and clean. We were welcomed with a smoothie/juice at reception and in our room was a chilled bottle of sparkling wine and a fruit platter. They also allowed us to check in earlier than 3pm which was a bonus. The hotel itself is new and fresh and the outdoor pool and loungers are lovely. There are loungers on the beach also. It's in a rural seaside location around 30 mins drive from Chania Old town. You have a view of the sea from everywhere and it's a nice sandy beach too. We would recommend going all inclusive. The food selection was extensive from choice of fruits, salads, cold meat and cheeses to the hot food and desserts. They also have a la carte menus for lunch and dinner if you prefer. Staff were all very friendly and helpful all the time. Nothing was too much trouble.

In my opinion, Phos Hotel is simply the best hotel in Agia Marina – hands down. No other hotel in the area can match it in terms of design, equipment, location, or service. I’ve stayed in around 10 different hotels here over the years, and nothing comes close to the level of comfort and quality Phos offers. I’ve known this hotel since before it officially opened, and I’m still impressed every time I visit. Everything is well thought-out, modern, and beautiful – from the rooms to the shared spaces. The staff is exceptional: warm, attentive, and always professional. The location is ideal – close to the beach, restaurants, and shops, yet peaceful and quiet. If you’re looking for a place that truly combines style, comfort, and authentic Greek hospitality, Phos is the one. I can’t recommend it enough – this is where you want to stay in Agia Marina.

We had an amazing stay at Maleme Mare. The resort is clean and spacious with two pools and and nice clean beach just across the road. Hotel is also very family friendly and doesn't feel overcrowded. Overall it has a very relaxed vibe and food was also amazing. Staff were fantastic, friendly and extremely helpful with everything we needed. Big shout out to Alex, Elena, Nikos, Stavros and everyone else that took such an amazing care of us. We enjoyed our girls trip so much and will definitely be coming back again!

This is a wonderful little hotel. The setting is beautiful – in the foothills of the Cretan mountains, this traditional farmhouse with pretty gardens and olive groves, is just a fifteen minute drive down to the coast. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and full of character, and every room has its own outdoor seating area. We enjoyed having breakfast and home-cooked dinner (if you wish) on the al fresco terrace, overlooking the olive grove and the Mediterranean beyond. (We watched the sun set every evening from the terrace.) But, best of all was the warm welcome and all the help we received from Efi and her staff - nothing was too much trouble.
