Absolutely loved Salty Wave, run by the nicest family. Room finish is of a very high standard , something you would expect in a ultra modern hotel. Breakfast was delicious every day. We would definately recommend and will be back.

We loved being just far enough away from the noisy skiathos centre , easy pleasant walk passing maggali ammo’s beach into town . Beautiful view from our balcony , breakfast by the side of the swimming pool with also just as fantastic a view . The staff at Avaton were all very welcoming and made our stay extra special.

The staff were absolutely amazing – warm, attentive, and always ready to help. Their service made the experience even more enjoyable. Huge shout out to Anthi (Άνθη) who went above & beyond to make us as comfy as possible, she made our holiday even more memorable.Highly recommend! We stayed at suits, and the room was perfection – every detail was thoughtfully considered, with a very stylish interior. The views from the room were splendid – you could even enjoy the sea view while taking a shower! The location was great: not far from the old town, the market, the bus stop, and with many restaurants just steps away. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and very attentive. Overall, the stay exceeded our expectations!

    First of all this accommodation is far from being 5 stars. Rooms have not been renovated for years, the bathroom is so old and full of mold, needs an urgent upgrade. The hotel does not have a fitness, you have to go to another hotel if you want to use it. We booked a Suite with Sea View but upon arrival they told us it is no longer available and they give us another room for the first 3 days then we can move to the one we booked. Staff was very nice at first, but then they ignore us and not answering the phone or messages. Unfortunately, we had to leave 2 days earlier because of terrible news, my husband’s dad passed away. They didn't do anything to partially refund us. Do yourself a favour and avoid this place at all costs.

    This is a pretty little beach and is excellent for swimming.

    This is a pretty little beach and is excellent for swimming. A pair of sun beds and an umbrella is only 15€. There is a beach bar and a restaurant at the beach. I can't vouch for the food as the beach was very close to my hotel so I just ate there, but the restaurant appears to be quite popular. The water taxi stops at this beach and goes straight to the old port of Skiathos in around 20 minutes. It costs 4.50€ and is a very peaceful little voyage (as long as the other tourists are behaving themselves).

    Pros: 1) Very well decorated property and roomy 2) Very comfortable beds with clean bed linen and towels 3) 500m away from a semi-private beach. Great for getting away from the crowds. But on a steep path. Need good shoes and to be fit 4) En suite bathrooms in all rooms 5) Well stocked kitchen 6) Wi-Fi, TV with apps, air-con 7) Easy drive to nice nearby beaches including Koukounaries

    The property is perfectly located next to our favourite beaches and restaurants. Making it a great place to stay. Easy to access the great supermarket too and a very lovely place to stay.
