    The area we stayed in was very quiet.

    The area we stayed in was very quiet. There was a beautiful restaurant on the sea front and a bakery nearby but that's it. Sami has lots of bars, shops and restaurants and is a twenty minute walk along the scenic sea front. I think to take advantage of the island you need to hire a car.

    Strategic location in the middle of the island - everything...

    Strategic location in the middle of the island - everything is close. Quiet and clean village with a good bakery close to the hotel (with breakfasts and a good coffee). And mainly - Antisamos Beach is just 15 minutes drive from Karavomylos. It's for sure the best beach in Kefalonia, don't look for any other. Sun beds for free, restaurant with a great food and a perfect coffee (+ very friendly staff), white pebbles beach and a lot of places for parking.

    Karavomylos is a beautiful location by the sea.

    Karavomylos is a beautiful location by the sea. The thoroughfare has shops and all amenities you would need. The area by the water is just stunning and we cannot recommend it highly enough. Our favourite place to eat is at the Karavomylos Taverna, where Georgios and his staff make you feel very welcome. The food in incredible! Karavomylos is a wonderful location to stay with its proximity to many attractions.

    Great location right in front of the beach and the hotel provide sun loungers free of charge. The suite was very spacious, spotlessly clean with great facilities and well equipped kitchen. Air conditioning excellent and very welcome as it was SO hot! Welcome from Athanasios, the Hotel Manager was great and he was really helpful throughout our stay Couple of Tavernas very close walk and an excellent bakery (great for brunch) and small supermarket. Walk along seafront to Sami is 15-20 minutes for more bars, tavernas, shopping etc.

    The team was really friendly. Despite a last notice they arrange a third bed in our room. The hotel has a nice view and a nice swimming that allow to have a nice rest after a long day of visit or walk. They gave us advice for visit and a small present for departure. For once, the breakfast is served in the room with the best view over the sea, not like in most hotels on the ground floors.

    Hospitality was amazing and property had everything I needed and was clean, well maintained and spacious. There's a communal courtyard also, which was quiet and relaxing. Location is great, very short walk to all the caves (including melissani) and the beaches in karavomylos. Sami is also walkable.

    Property was modern and very clean. Had almost everything we needed. Great water pressure for shower. Pool was great, as was the tree outside which provided a lovely shady spot. Great location 5 minutes drive from Sami. Host provided us with lots of information about Kefalonia and recommendations.

    A stunning location right on the sea front. The hotel was spotless and the staff were extremely helpful and lovely. The food was excellent at breakfast and a nice snack bar/lunch by the pool bar. A nice evening meal when we ate there.
