Katakolon is the main port for cruise liners where guests...
Katakolon is the main port for cruise liners where guests are visiting Olympia and seems geared up largely for this purpose. It is quite a pleasant seaside town but nothing exceptional. When we were there there were no cruise ships in port and it was very quiet. All of the seafront restaurants and bars were open so we had our pick, but a lot of the shops were close for most of the time we were there. Small city with port for big ship.
Small city with port for big ship. Worth visiting for few days. Close to nice beaches. Shops with beautiful clothes and other things (mostly not cheap, but you can find good deals). Good starting point to Olympia.Guest review byKrzysztofPoland
