We stayed for a week at the Ostria Sea View apartment. The apartment is just like in the pictures. The kitchen is well equipped, and there is also a hair dryer available. There were some drinks waiting for us in the fridge. It offers a beautiful view of the sea. At first, we thought the lack of air conditioning would be a downside. However, in the evening the apartment can be ventilated very well — the windows have mosquito screens, and we slept with the windows open. In the end, we didn’t miss having air conditioning at all. The host was very kind and responsive to messages.

House is new, furniture are new, very new that even the price tags are still on them :) Host is very friendly woman, she offered cold water and apple juice for our son. Location is very close to city center, we have rented a car and drove there, there is a little bit of slope and bumps along the way but easy to navigate and park.

The view of the house is amazing. The owner of the house is a very cheerful woman and she tried to help us to have a wonderful holiday. House is clean, cooking equipments are enough for a long time stay. We stayed with a baby and she loved here also.If you like to visit Kefalos, here should be your first choice to stay.

The apartment is excellent, located in a new building. From the balcony, you get a partial sea view along with a beautiful landscape. The kitchen is very well equipped, and I especially appreciated the many small amenities that are often missing elsewhere, such as salt, kitchen bags, soap, kitchen foil, and even mosquito repellent. The owner was also very helpful and responsive in communication.

Our experience at Anthos Residence 1 was simply perfect. The apartment is new, spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished, and fully equipped with everything you might need – even beach towels were provided! The location is ideal, in the part of the island with the most stunning beaches. The hosts were absolutely delightful – they welcomed us with fresh fruit and cold water, and on our departure, they even gifted us a bottle of their own olive oil. We will never forget their kindness and warm hospitality. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

The friendly pleasant host met us and provided all the necessary information. A transfer from the airport was also offered at a very attractive price. Very good location - in a quiet place, but also closed to the center. There was also a bus stop, supermarket and tavernes nearby. The room was clean and comfortable, had everything you needed. And this gorgeous view from the balcony! 🙂 This is a great place to stay for holidays!

    Flight from ATH (Aegean Air) very good. With luggage in-hand, we got in-line for a taxi to take us to lodging. Terrible experience. Must have been 35++ people in-line, A few taxis came initially. Wait was over 30 minutes. Standing in sun. It took a long time to get a taxi. Way to long. First impression of Kos, very poor. Then, our taxi driver could not find our lodging in the Kefalos area (think this was a rare event, as our lodging was NOT on the taxi drivers GPS display...???). Finally used Google Maps and that worked. Trip was off to poor start and never got better. Disappointed in Kos ground transportation. Have traveled a good number of the Greek Islands. This was the FIRST (Kos) that I would NOT return to.

    Very quiet resort at this time of year (end of September). Lots of tavernas open, beaches quiet. Bit windy at times but very relaxed all across the island. A car is a valuable aid to a great time. The island is not large and you can drive the hole Island in a day. Poor bus serivce and strange taxi service, spasmodic at best. Blustery oin one side, calm on the other. Kefalos bay is normally perfect for people watching sun and crystal clear waters. BUT its quiet! No night clubs... just a quiet place in september.... we are in our 60's

    Kefalos is great if you want the quieter holiday.

    Kefalos is great if you want the quieter holiday. There is always a breeze so very popular for windsurfing but the days are long and hot with sunshine for about 13 hours so you will appreciate it. There are loads of places to rent cars, quads etc and the island is small so give it a try.

    It’s a quieter beach with a relaxed and laid back feel. Some tavernas along the waterfront. Lots of dubbed available and not crowded during my visit in mid August. Supermarkets nearby. Bus is regular between Kos town, and Kefalos every couple of hours during summer. Hire cars available.

    Kefalos is nice, quiet place to stay if you are looking for...

    Kefalos is nice, quiet place to stay if you are looking for relax and water activities (swimming, wind-surfinfing...). Kefalos village offers a great view over the island. Quite good connection wit other beaches, Kos town or airport by bus.

    Kefalos is very run down. Lots of derelict buildings. Almost empty in October even though it was still good weather. Most restaurants closed - the few that were open were good enough - stick with the fish - octopus quite tough and chicken kebabs awful

    Friendly and good staff, with the exception of the hotel employee who replied to messages on Booking.com; The view is amazing; The room is a good size; Good welcome drink and appetizers; Good breakfast; Great lunch; Dinner was enjoyable, I felt that there was room for improvement; Amazing massage, really good spa experience; Price: I found the price to be quite reasonable. It was a true bargain, especially when compared to the prices of other 5-star hotels in the Kos area (5 nights/6 days - € 1,064.00).

    - Nice view from the balcony, you can see a bit of sea and mountains. - Great value for money. - Additional cleaning the next day, like in a hotel. So if you don't need it better to say before :) - Quiet area. - Nets in the room, almost no mosquitos. - Not far from the beach, maybe 12 mins walk. - Not far from a bus station (Royal Bay Hotel station and other station). - Many restaurants and supermarkets are close by. - Enough of shampoo, soaps, sanitizer, etc.

    The appart is in a quiet area surrounded by nature and only a walking distance from the beach! The best part of it is the swimming pool ! The appart is basic but it is a great value for money ! VERY CLEAN !!! The hosts Maria and Jack are always there to help you in all circumstances! The restaurant by the pool and is EXCELLENT ( with huge portions !!!! ) Definitely a place to recommend!!!! Kefalos is a GREAT place for relaxing !

    Excellent family run hotel. Nothing is too much trouble they go above and beyond with hospitality. Food excellent and reasonably priced 😀 The pool area and pool is very well maintained. No shortage of sunbeds so no mad rush in the morning 😁 Location is good for the beach ⛱️, supermarket and restaurants. Kefalos is ideal for anyone with walking difficulties as the main resort is flat. I will be visiting chrysoulas again 😁😁😁

    Really nice family hotel with greek atmosphere! Room was perfectly clear, nice and comfortable. Location of studios is in perfect quiet area of Kos. For family best location! Aircondition in every room, breakfast- oh amazing!!! Also big thanks to Barbara and her family! They were super nice! We had a great time here!!! Kos Island Studio should have more than 2stars!!!
