Its a suburb with a busy main road of traffic, but away from the main road it is OK. Even on its main road the good restaurants we used were not spoiled by this. It is well equipped with supermarkets and shops. It has excellent bus links to Chania (route18). The apartment was located a little way from the main road - easy to reach it, but without the noise.
