Beautifully designed and decorated flat with a fantastic location right in the middle of Paleochora with easy access to the beach and to the central restaurant and bar area. Nevertheless on a quiet side street so not noisy.

Location. It was easy to find with plenty of parking spaces outside. Breakfast buffet has many options to choose from. Proximity to the beach. Cleanness and comfort of the beds and the room in general with walk-in closet, fridge and sink.

Very welcoming and cozy place. The breakfast was good, and everyday we got to taste something different and homemade. They served really good fresh orange juice. The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel is located close to the beach and to several restaurants. The staff was kind and gave us useful information about the area. Overall a very positive stay.

Nice apartment with pool at a fantastic place. The view was breath-taking, the beautiful Elafonisi beach just 10 minutes walk away. The restaurant belonging to the apartment served great food, the staff was very nice, responsive and helpful. Everything was clean.

These apartments are the best I’ve ever stayed in. Just out of the centre but so easy to access everywhere. The family are amazing and delivered lots of lovely treats from their bakery, to us. The apartment is equipped with EVERYTHING you need. They are beautifully appointed.

    The host is lovely.

    The host is lovely. She speaks a little English but her warmth and hospitality bridge the gap. Accommodation is spotlessly clean and spacious. Beds comfortable. Recommend for those happy to stay a short drive from Paleochora wanting peace and quiet. This is a large growing area so you will be in and around grow sheds. Still This is a wonderful authentic place.

    Kountoura Selino is more of an area towards the end of a seaside road at the Southwest part of the Crete islands. Driving out from the town of Palaochora, one finds along the seaside road a supermarket, camping ground, housings, some tavernas, beaches and beach bars along the road. Of the beaches, our favourite was Grameno beach, as it provided a facility with umbrellas at the wonderful sandy part, as well as a more beautiful wild naturist part settled among the dune and rocks. We saw wonderful sunsets there. A car is needed to get around the area. We were there in the first week of September, and it was rather quiet with few tourists, which we enjoyed.
