Our recent stay at the InterContinental Crete was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a stunning sea view room, which set the tone for a truly memorable getaway. The staff were incredibly friendly, polite, and genuinely eager to assist with anything we needed. Their warm hospitality made us feel welcome and well cared for throughout our stay. The hotel itself is modern, luxurious, and recently built, with elegant design touches that create a serene and upscale atmosphere. Everything from the lobby to the rooms exudes comfort and sophistication. We were especially impressed by the abundant and delicious breakfast, offering a wide variety of fresh, high-quality options each morning. It was the perfect way to start the day. One of the highlights of our stay was relaxing on the sunbeds by the infinity pools on the 5th and 9th floors. The pools offer breathtaking views over the Aegean Sea and a calm, peaceful ambiance that's ideal for unwinding. To top it all off, the hotel kindly accommodated our request for a late checkout, allowing us to enjoy just a bit more time in this beautiful setting. Overall, our experience at the InterContinental Crete was exceptional. Whether you're looking for relaxation, luxury, or top-tier service, this hotel truly delivers on all fronts. It was a really calm and wonderful experience from all aspects, starting with the hotel. I booked a suite with a private pool facing the sea. The room was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. All the hotel staff, without exception, were amazing and friendly, making you feel like you're dealing with family members rather than employees just doing their job. Breakfast terrace!! Very hospital greeting at reception, girls will show your room. But in fact it is strictly necessary, otherwise no chance to find it in these labyrinths :D Very pleasant stay, tasty breakfasts, deep pool, and a parking at the top of the hill. In this microscopic city it is a big benefit if you drive to a hotel.

Well this has been about the third time we have stayed at the Angelos hotel and it never fails to get 100% rating. The room was basic, but met our needs including a wonderful view of the bay. The hotel is quirky to get into but does have a lift, which you access through a shop.The owner, Eleftheria also works in the shop, next door and is marvellous.The rooms are cleaned each day and because I celebrated my 76th birthday, at the hotel I was presented with a birthday card. Sort of.But nevertheless the hotel is a oasis in a resort of much more expensive, luxury accommodations, and long may it remain so for the foreseeable future...

Really friendly staff, from the reception to the beach staff, the restaurants, the snack bar, the cleaning staff. Perfect!!! Special thanks to the guest relations manager Yannis!!! The food in the main restaurant...amazing...breakfast and dinner buffet...just exceptional. Beach was 10+++, the sea...amazing. The pools were clean... perfection. We will be coming back!!!! Best vacation so far (family, 2 kids)
