The food is some of the most delicious food I’ve ever eaten my life. The staff are so warm and welcoming and the views are out of this world. Quite possibly the best place I’ve ever stayed in my entire life. Would highly recommend.

Lovely lady owner. Set in a garden with mountain views. It was so nice to stay in a home. It has two bedrooms, a lounge and formal dining, a great kitchen and nice veranda with mountain views. Plenty of room. Good oil heating and efficient bathroom plus on property parking. All in a village setting. And freshly picked citrus in a bowl. And of course a decanter of raki.

we liked everything; comfortable beds, great stay;very quiet location but still close enough to heaches and Knossos and Heraklion ( car an absolute must). we arrived very late at the property and we were met by a lovely host who made us feel very welcome! even though it was the middle of the night. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the house; it’s very quiet and well equipped. everything you need for a relaxing stay. if you love being away from the crowd this is an absolute treat!

What an amazing place for relaxing and forgetting the world exists, would reccommend this hidden gem to everyone, location is amazing, a 7 minute walk to the most beautiful lake, a taverna with fabulous cuisine right on the doorstep. We will be back in September.

    Loukia is perfect location, the Messara plain has wide straight roads which means you can make many trips in far distance very easy. Or you can get up the hill and spend a day on wining roads. Bakery, farmacy and small supermarket is in next village 2km, everything else you find in Agios Deka. Must do Minoan places, Archeological Museum, gorges, Abba waterfall.
