superb classic Pelion building with amazing views over the hills and out to sea. Very tasteful decorative style throughout. Lovely pool.comfortable beds. Very clean. Superb breakfast.Anastasia and Cretone were superb hosts as was Constantin in the bar and restaurant .

We couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay in Kala Nera, such a beautiful peaceful location in the countryside yet only a short stroll to the beach where there are many restaurants and cafes to choose from. Our room on the first floor was spacious with a lovely sized balcony which overlooked the pretty gardens. We particularly enjoyed watching the European bee eaters flying around in the early evening. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, the cheese pies and homemade jams were a treat. We managed to see many of the nearby places by local bus and hiked to the nearby mountain village. Ainareti is a great base for exploring Pelion and the owners are so lovely and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Thanks for a very relaxing stay.

Very nice facilities in a quiet area. The staff was polite, warm and helpful! The breakfast amazing, few choices with excellent homemade ingredients! Last but not least 5 stars for the cleaning as the second day they even changed the carpet in our bathroom! Can’t wait to pay a visit again! Thank you!

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well taken care of. We recently stayed at Hani Zisi and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The place has undergone significant renovations after the flood last year, with a completely new reception and restaurant area. The bathroom in our room was also brand-new and impeccably clean. While the room itself had a slightly older vibe, it was spacious, cozy, and well-maintained. The highlight of our stay was the restaurant — the food was absolutely delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The view from the property is breathtaking, with stunning sights of the surrounding mountains, villages, and even the sea in the distance. Chania is primarily a ski resort, so during autumn, there isn’t much to do except retreat, relax, and enjoy nature. However, if you have a car, there are plenty of other places on Mount Pelion to explore.
