We stayed a couple of nights in August. Rooms were spacious and clean, lovely gardens around the hotel. Kids really enjoyed the pool and nice sandy beach just opposite. Plenty of good restaurants only a few minutes walk away. But the best thing was the kind and hospitable owners. Thank you Mr Manolis

Blue horizon is absolutely beautiful in every way. We had such a wonderful relaxing stay, even with four children in tow! I don’t know where to start. I never review anywhere but this one I have to. Artemis and his wife and all the staff are so friendly and helpful, they make you feel like part of their family while you’re staying but not in a way that makes you feel you don’t have your own privacy. The pool is lovely, views are just something from heaven. The whole place is spotlessly clean. Artemis is there early in the morning cleaning and watering all the beautiful plants. Air con really good, rooms so clean. The breakfast is delicious, pizzas and burgers incredible, very reasonable price too. We had a car hire disaster and Artemis was so helpful in trying to solve our problems, he has all the right contacts for anything you need. Also a doctors and chemists number when my child needed something. We will definitely come back and we never go anywhere twice but we felt so safe and comfortable here. Just perfect in every way. Location you have a lovely sand and shallow water beach to walk to, 3 tavernas and a bar. Kampos is 5 min drive away with supermarket and loads of restaurants and shops, bars etc

Accommodation as we expected, but what impressed us most was the care and service we received during our stay. The care was outstanding – it was the best we had ever experienced.We felt so pampered and cared for, it was like nothing we'd ever experienced before! All this, combined with the outstanding nature of the place, made our stay truly unforgettable. The view from the accommodation was absolutely incredible! Sitting on the terrace and admiring both the sea and the mountains at the same time was an experience we will never forget.

We were very pleased with this hotel run by Jota and his family. From the moment we stepped into the hotel, we felt at home thanks to the smiling faces, problem-solving attitudes and hospitality of Jota and her daughter. The clean room, solid and trouble-free equipment (kettle, stove, hair dryer etc), the calm environment we always desired (maybe due to the season) and the good location were quite great for us. Lovely trees and flowers in the garden and two mother cats and their kittens were the bonus! Jota's generosity, which started with a beverage service just at check-in, continued with freshly picked vegetables and homemade jams in the following days. She even offered vegetables from her garden while we were leaving. We hope we can visit again.

I had a really great stay at Alexandra from the beginning until the end. The owners and the staff are super friendly. The apartment was very spacey with a big balcony and sea view. The room was very modern furnished and had a kitchen with all what was needed. Every second day the room was cleaned. The beach is just in front of the hotel just across the street. It's quiet there. Around the hotel are supermarkets, shops and restaurants. I would stay there again. I can totally recommend the hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. Everything exceeded my expectations. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The hotel owner was very friendly and attentive. She welcomed us with a big smile and even offered us 1 liter of fresh orange juice upon arrival. When we were leaving, he also gave us a lovely local gift from the island. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation.

    the little town we were with a harbor staying at cleopatra...

    the little town we were with a harbor staying at cleopatra studios is very greek with 6-8 restaurants, a pebble beach, a supermarket - very nice area. Be aware that if you want to go to the next city, lying just west from here there is mountain way - so you need a car to get around. The city next to where we stayed is very tourist with restaurants and bars along the beach road. can recommend you to go up north to a mountain city - ask the people, I have forgotten the name of the city. There are several artists and 2 restaurants up there. Very nice.

    Thanks to great service, delicious food and wonderful staff we will come back to Marathokampos, soon! This place should be up-ranked! The wonderful manager showed us around the hotel one night and the kitchen - were great food was cooked every evening by him! His wonderful wife upgrade us to a room - with jacuzzi our last night. It was Amazing! So thankful for the days we spend here. /Amanda & Filip. T

    Ormos is a very pretty working village, very laid back.

    Ormos is a very pretty working village, very laid back. It is a great location for the South Coast, car hire essential. The best beach is at Limnionas, free quality sunbeds at The Nereides providing you spend 5 Euro on drinks. We can recommend the Vangellis & Despina fishing trip ( 45 Euro per head) which includes BBQ of fresh fish + salads /Wine & fruit, great fun but it needs booking as they only take a max of 12 guests per day, Their Tel no is on a post next to the boat at the end of the Harbour.

    One of the best places I have ever visited.

    One of the best places I have ever visited. All the places at Marathokampos (shoping, eating, drinking, car rental places etc.) were wonderful. The taste of the foods were unforgetable (not only seafood but also meat). The best rate is for hospitality of people living at Marathokampos. If anyone thinking about visit to Marathokampos, no need to think or wonder even one second, just go.

    We spent 4 nights with my mom and enjoyed it a lot! The location is great at a location far from the tourist crowd. Amanda is very accommodating and she gave excellent advice on to-dos, where to eats and so on! Even more, she helped us finding a rental car. Everything was great and kitchen had all the amenities. Thanks Amanda, we will come again if we are ever in the Samos island

    The staff were very helpful and attentive. Being right in front of the sea was wonderful. Sunbeds and umbrellas are free for hotel guests. The sea is very beautiful. Psili Ammos is just a few minutes by car. Night view from the balcony was stunning.
