Easy to reach from the main road : very close to the sea,but surrounded by uncontaminated nature. Not far from town center that offers local tavernas for eating or drinking something. The apartment provides all you need for a good stay: very nice and clean, with some peculiarity that makes it unique. Beds are very comfortable. On the table we found an hand made raki and a freshly picked red flower. The big open space just outside the apartment and the garden around it is simply adorable. We have spent lots of time recreating our eyes seeing beautiful plants and flowers, lying on the hammocks, enjoing the gentle breeze and observing cats slumbered lazily. Bettina is a super guest and we really appreciate have conversation with her about ...everything. We had a great time at white house Mochlos.

As soon as I booked Androkini contacted us with all necessary information. All was perfect and lovely. The location is exceptional and we can park our car just in front of the house. Since we stayed 3 days we didn t use all utilities and ate at restaurants, but if you need to cook all is available in the house. Upstairs we have a bedroom with a nice balcony wich we enjoyed at night. All was perfect. Thank you.

We visit Crete very often. Our favorite region is the north-eastern part of Crete. We decided to stay at Manolis House and it was the best decision. The house is beautiful. We spent almost 4 weeks there. It was recently renovated and done beautifully. It has two very comfortable bedrooms with large beds. One with a large window and an amazing view of the sea, huge cliffs and olive groves. Very well-equipped kitchen. The biggest advantage is the view. It's breathtaking. You can spend the whole day on the large terrace and you won't get bored of the view. The house is located in a very quiet area. You can sleep with the windows open. A private parking space is a great convenience. The owners are very nice and helpful. Manolis House is the best place in Crete we have stayed so far.

    Very small village, quite and friendly with 7 taverna to suit all tastes and budgets 3were exceptional.a few gift shops and a well stocked mini market .the hill to our villa is quite steep in places but we were able to get up and down at least twice a day even as a 73 year old and after wine and raki . Sitia and beyond were great to explore and the town beach was good when not too windy .we used thlos beach a short drive away too. Everywhere accepted visa cards which was a good job as the nearest ATM is on sitia. All in all a fab place if you want small and quiet.

    Mochlos is quiet but not for beach lovers or children, 4 or 5 taverna's where 80%of the tables appear to be reserved every night and unlike most of the rest of Crete no raki from the hosts at the end of the meal.A few bars and shops and that is it.

    Mochlos a magical village right on the beach.

    Mochlos a magical village right on the beach. Very cosy and convenient with shops and tavernas serving delicious fresh local food. It is bit remote, but it's a good thing in our eyes. Views to die for everywhere. Lots of ancient history on every corner. Mochlos is a good place to make your base camp. You can rent a car and travel around exploring nearby beautiful scenery, beaches, tavernas and history of Crete. We miss it already.

    Small town with a lot of tourists mainly from France. In the town there is a mini-market and several concept shops. You can feel as being to far from urban noise, like a time travel back years ago (in positive sense).

    Mochlos is a charming port with the ancient island of Mochlos very near. If you go to George's taverna he will take you there on his little boat for a small fee. Well worth the trip. There are a few restaurants, bars and boutique shops around a very small location.

    It has not been destroyed by the tourism industry yet, I wonder how long. Nice little town right by the sea. There are rather small rocky beaches in Mochlos. Clean and warm water. Beaches without sunbeds or umbrellas but showers mostly. Excellent restaurants with local food and seafood by the beaches. The drink bars are also nice.

    The property is definitely the prettiest house in Mochlos along with Alex the best host you could wish to meet. The room had every thing we needed for a comfortable stay, very clean & organised to make the best use of the space. Great location, plenty of nice places to eat. Last but not least - a big thank you to Alex for looking after us so well & driving us to the main road so we could catch the bus to our next stay. Mochlos & Chez Cecile are some thing special!     The owners are super nice guys. You can see they put heart in creating the space of the hotel and kitchen. They have cute friendly dog Amber who will gladly be your companion at the dinner :). The location of the little hotel is really great and I am sure the sea view rooms are worth checking out. The terrace of the restaurant is one of the prettiest in village located directly above the sea.

    The place is in a great location with a mini market just around the corner and an excellent coffee/snack bar 30 metres away. Two minute walk to the tavernas and the atmosphere of Mochlos is really special. We were there late in the season so there weren't that many tourists.

    Nice apartment in the center of Mochlos. The best part was the localization, close to local restaurants, bars and a beach. Despite the hot weather it was quite cool inside. Amazing view and a really nice bed. We had absolutely amazing time there :)

    Mochlos is a cute seaside village and Despina's Studios is well located, very close to the beach and taverns, but quiet. The place was immaculate, well equipped, and has a nice outdoor patio. We enjoyed our short stay here.
