Although I frequently passed through Néa Ankhíalos in the past -when I was working in nearby Volos- I never had stayed there, and hadn't realised its potential for vacationing. Its proximity to Pelion and the incredibly fine beaches of the Aegean front of the Pelion mountain, had me pass it by, and it's a pity as Néa Ankhíalos has a very inviting beach and at the same time has restaurants to go to, close to the beach. I can't really grumble as you get what you pay for with hotels. The reception team were great, but the bed was far too soft for a decent night's sleep. This hotel is great for an airport stopover but not sure that I'd want to stay there for a week.Guest review byAndy
