Paleochóra has got it right.
Paleochóra has got it right. Just busy enough to be humming, not too crowded. Plenty of super restaurants to choose from and plenty of nearby beaches all with their own character. Lots of walking and bike routes if sunbathing becomes too boring! The icing on the cake is that the town is at the end of a highway, so there is no through traffic. On top of that the town centre is closed to motorised traffic every evening from 1830. It makes the place even friendlier. Having been to many Greek holiday destinations I can't think of one I would now prefer to go to. But I haven't seen them all yet!Guest review bySallyUnited Kingdom

The hotel is right next to the beach and within walking distance to everything in Palaiochora. The room was very clean, spacious, and had a lovely balcony. Emanuela was an amazing host — she welcomed us warmly and even let us drop off our luggage earlier than the standard check-in time, which was very convenient.
