Great location in walking distance from the port and Chora. We enjoyed the amazing view to the castle from the veranda-it is exactly as shown in the photos. Brand new, clean and spacious. Also the parking space was very convenient. The host was very polite and the overall service very professional. We will definitely stay in Ydria if we visit Astypalaia again.

Outside traditonal, but very modern inside this property was just perfect for me, since everything, the port, the beach, shopping facilities or restaurants are within walking distance. Really happy with my choice.

The place is a real gem! We loved it. Everything was fantastic. The owner came with breakfast every morning and answered all questions about Astypalea. She picked us up at the ferry in the middle of the night. Look nowhere else but stay here, its just a lovely wonderful place in the Chora! We will be coming back for sure!

The apartment is in chora and very near to the main port of Astypalaia. The apartment was very clean and with all the facilities. The host was very helpful and friendly. I definitely recommend it.

Located close to the Chora, the most beautiful beaches and the small village of Livadi populated with excellent taverns.     The town is built on a very steep hillside, with most of the restaurants and bars at the top. In the summer there is a bus that runs from the beach to the top. If you come by ferry, check the sailing times, as most are middle of the night and the main port is not at Pera Gyalos. The roads leave a lot to be desired.
