A typical resort town with a nice beach, many restaurants, shops, gift shops. Early in the morning you can watch the sunrise, the sunset is on the other side of Kassandra arm. The beach is a bit narrow and in the height of the season it would be more difficult to find places in the free use area. On the other hand, there are quite a few beach bars where you can sit while drinking and eating. Polichrono is a mid-size village with many taverns, shops, bars, bakeries, etc. It's more suitable for families with kids because the beach is narrow and shallow. It may get very busy and crowded with people, so if you like quite and relaxing places maybe Polichrono is not the best choice for that. The beach is not sandy but with pebbles and big stones in the water. Aquashoes are recommended when you go into the water. The beach front is very narrow (4-6 m in depth) and you can hardly find where to put your towel or umbrella. Free zones are limited and overcrowded. Situation is the same with the paid zones. Prices for sunbeds vary between 10-30 euro depends on the line, and many places require additional food/drink consumption on top of the sunbed charges.Guest review byakavrBulgaria - 6.0

It's a small Greek place, with a few restaurants, cafes and bars, it gets quite crowded in the season, there's not much to do in the place itself. But the beaches are beautiful and it's a perfect place for families with small children because everything is so close. In September, there were mostly older people. Beaches are a bit boring compared to Sithonia's beaches, but still, the water is perfect everywhere. Many beach bars, little shops.
