Nice place located few steps from the town of Ireon. Good starting point for hikes to nearby hills and mountains or to take bicycling trips across the cities along the coast. Public bus to and from the Samos town is available Monday to Friday three times a day.

We booked this accomodation at the last minute due to a change in flight schedule that meant we would be arriving in Samos a day earlier than planned... Despina met us at the airport and allowed us to follow her to her place. She welcomed us in to the property which was much more spacious than we thought. 2 large bedrooms, a new kitchen, lounge area and 2 big bathrooms. Everything was new and very clean. The property had a washing machine and also a large outdoor area with a table and area to hang clothes to dry. The location was right next to the airport, but we didn't notice the noise. It is located a 3 minute drive from some of the most expensive resorts on the island. Really well priced.

We had the most wonderful couple of days. We were picked up in a nearby village and brought to the house. The house is right by the beach and the sea. It is very cosy and has everything (really everything) you need. The fridge was stocked with water, fruit (including a plate with freshly cut watermelon!), cake, etc. There are multiple sitting areas around the house where you can watch the sea - great to have your breakfast in the morning! Whilst there are a couple of houses in the bay, we barely saw any people during our stay - we would often have the feeling that we were in our own little paradise. Huge bonus points for the outside shower btw! The family who owns the home is extremely friendly. One night they brought us freshly made greek donuts. They also drove us to our next stay. As the house is in a remote area, you will need a scooter or a (small) car (and some driving skills). We had rented a scooter and it was absolutely lovely to drive around the area, enjoy the views and visit nearby villages/restaurants.

This place has breathtaking views and it's in the middle of nature. You are both disconnected from the tourist crowd, but still very close to a great mountain village like Manolates. The host had amazing recommendations for restaurants, shops, beaches, etc. We will remember this place for many years, and we hope we have another chance to come back soon!

Our first time in Samos has been a memorable experience very much thanks to the lovely studio we stayed in. The flat ticked all the boxes for us. We felt wonderful hospitality since day one. I was looking for a guiet little village and simple, clean and pleasant accommodation near the sea. I had it all staying in Ireon and Villa Mary Galini. It’s perfect with a walking distance to Papa Beach, Mini markets and restaurants. I didn’t feel the need of hiring a car during my stay, but I can imagene many would feel 7 days without a car getting a little monotonous. Maria, the owner, is easy to be in contact with and is a lovely person.
