I chose Anapoli because of it's easy access to the Aradena...
I chose Anapoli because of it's easy access to the Aradena gorge and other walks in the area - I also walked to the Kormokopos cave from Agia Ioannis - a beautiful and gentle climb through an old pine forest and down to Loutra - a 2000 ft drop with stunning views. I also drove to Livaniana along one of the most vertiginous zig-zag roads I have ever driven on - one for the thrill seekers! Although there were a number of tavernas open around the village, I stuck to the Platanos which served beautiful vegetarian dishes using local ingredients - highly recommended. Although some tourists use the local bus services or taxis I found having a hire car extremely useful.Guest review byPaulUnited Kingdom
