It was perfect in every way. Spotless clean, modern, a little palace. Cleaned regularly throughout and fresh towels every time. The pool and patio area is very clean and well kept and we made the most of it and the BBQ. The thoughtful touches meant so much, after a flight delay and very later arrival, the fridge of cold drinks and bottled water was an absolute blessing. Perfectly situated for our needs. Not to far away from everything Skala has to offer, but with the added bonus of peace and tranquility with the most breathtaking views from every angle. We had a hire car but often walked (20-30mins) to the nearby restaurants, bakery and beaches. Skala is a 10-15 minute drive and taxis are available which we used once. The drive up to the villas from the road is steep, but once you get the hang of the gate and drive, it’s not an issue at all.

So clean and modern. We love the pool and the fact you don’t have to “reserve” a sun bed, me holiday pet hate! The staff are fantastic and welcoming back after our 4th visit. We will be back next year - for sure!

From booking to checking out the experience was smooth and efficient. The property itself is high quality, with care and consideration everything has been thought through. It is remote and away from the hustle and bustle - perfect if you just want to relax and be calm but not too far if you want to get out and eat in any of the nearing towns - a car is definitely an advantage. Kostas and his team go well beyond any expectations and cater to your every need, nothing is more than 15 minutes away - the service is on point! Can't recommend this place enough, Ill be telling everyone who comes to Kefalonia to consider this place!

    Lots of choice of bars and restaurants all manned by super friendly staff and food was excellent. Everything was close together along with some restaurants overlooking the lovely Sandy beach which stretched for miles. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and had several day trips out exploring everything this beautiful island had to offer. Would definitely recommend a visit.

    Skala is a lovely place, beautiful beaches and lots of great taverna's/restaurants and bars to choose from. Nice little high street with some very nice jewellery shops! It doesn't feel too touristy and the locals are so friendly. We loved it and will be back!

    Great trip for a long weekend.

    Great trip for a long weekend. Chose private transfer by taxi (40mins) excellent service from Kefalonia taxis. Anassa Hotel location was great for beach, tourist ferry and short walk to town. Thursday night was ABBA/karaoke. Went on far too long beyond midnight. Impossible to sleep with the noise in a front sea view room.

    Lovely little town with great beaches.

    Lovely little town with great beaches. A good selection of great restaurants and bars to suit all budgets. Supermarkets are well stocked for all your needs. Great bakeries and ice cream shops too not to mention an array of gifts stores and clothing boutiques. Pretty shaded areas in the town to sit and watch the Ionian Sea. Friendly locals. Taxis always available. Boat trips to other islands and beach sports can be booked. Beach bed hire at intervals all along the beaches. Roman Villa and Holy Trinity Church good to visit. We went at start of season early July and wonderfully peaceful. Lots of cats o the island but well looked after.

    Skala town has a large variety of cocktail bars and restaurants through to ice cream parlours. We ate in many restaurants but our favourite was Flamingo. Brilliant menu just enough and they catered well for vegetarians. Others restaurants to try, Mikalatos, Old Times, Ammos (wow), The Manor House etc... Cocktail bars, Captains (long island ice tea), Akri (Zombies) Sally's (old fashioned)

    lots of choice of places to eat and good value. everyone very kind and polite and keen to welcome you. Favourite place to eat was Ammos - a beach bar in the day and excellent restaurant - charming family who run it and could not have made us feel more welcome and helped us with questions about where else to eat and to get a boat trip - we picked up a self-drive speed boat in Poros from Alexandros at Enalia and went up the coast for the day - the only way to see the incredible blue waters in the inacessible white beaches - you can have a driver if you are not confident to drive the boat yourself.

    The rooms are very beautiful and comfortable. Nice and cozy styled in boho style. Its just a 2-3mins walk to the beach. The hotel employees were everytime very helpful and friendly if needed. The swimmingpool is a nice advantage if the weather is a bit colder and the sea wavy. The location is great nearby you can find restaurants with delicious local meals. We enjoyed our vacation in Kefalonia so much and would recommend for every traveler to visit.

    Everything was prerfect! Location is in the center of town Skala and the beach is walkable distance also, you have rent a car/bike service oposite of the hotel and also market close by. Best regards to the cleaning lady, she was like a mom keeping everything neet clean and very kind As for the other staff and owners they were kind and perfect.     Very central and although there’s a gyros next door it was still quiet and private. The apartment is shaded so quite cool and everything works as new. There’s an explosion of cats in Kefalonia maybe due to Covid and neutering charities closing I don’t know but plenty cats around the area. I’d definitely stay again and the two sisters who manage it are there to assist and very helpful.

    I cannot put into words how amazing this hotel was!! The staff were incredible and super friendly and made sure our stay was as comfortable as ever!! The food was really good, they have an incredible chef and everything was just amazing!! The hotel has a breathtaking view overlooking the beautiful Kefalonian ocean and it provides such tranquility.
