The Best place to stay on Thassos Island and Skala Potamia! If you are looking for a ideal place, Porto Thassos is the one and only choice. Owned by a family of great, more than friendly and always helpful people. Stavros and his parents are so kind, so warm and so lovely, you will regret to leave home after the stay with them. They will treat you not like a regular customer but almost as a member of a great Greek family! And this is something priceless, something you will not get elsewhere. Something you can’t buy with money! Great people, great friends and we wish them all the best! Thank you so much for a great time we spent together The studios are freshly renovated, equipped with everything you need in a very good interior design we loved from the first sight. Ideal and so comfy place to stay even when there is bad weather outside. Kitchen annex and bathroom have everything you need. Another thing you will love from the first moment of being at Porto Thassos is how clean it is during the whole stay. The studios are cleaned every day, you do not need to ask for fresh towels or bed linen, it is always changed for fresh ones! All above make your stay so comfortable so you feel like in 5 star hotel. Really. When it comes to price value - Porto Thassos is worth every single euro spent there. Book a holiday with them and enjoy the highest level of comfort. Stavros – the manager is always there to help you, give all the information you need. Professional and very friendly at the same time. The Porto Thassos building has a very good location, minutes from a beach and walking distance to town main attractions. Shops, cafes and restaurants in the closest area. If you have a car they offer you a free parking place which has many trees so your car is protected from the sun. So if you are looking for a studio or apartment to rent, do not go elsewhere, do not hesitate – you will not find anything better, book Porto Thassos and fell the real Greek hospitality!

Great and big rooms!!!! Comfortable beds and pillows and the jacuzzi was perfect!!!! Mr. Nikos and Ms. Anna always smiling and willing to serve us! 3 minutes walk to the beach and tavernas, but in a quiet nice location. It was worth staying there. We personally got another night stay.

    This location is a gem.

    This location is a gem. Beach is awesome, you can travel to other locations, food is out of this world. Value for dollar is magic. The best food for the least cost. How this can be? The souvlaki at ZIAFET GYROS, GRILL, ruined all souvlaki for me. Their staff is out of this world. Unfair. They made us go back night after night, even when we wanted to try other places. Had to do take out from the other locations.

    We were absolutely delighted with this hotel! The breakfast was luxurious and delicious, the hospitality was wonderful, and the rooms were spotless. Everything was top-notch. We will definitely be back!

    The Golden beach - crystal water, fine sand and big free...

    The Golden beach - crystal water, fine sand and big free access area and parking near the beach. Many affordable restaurants and shops. Walking street with places of attraction. I'd recommend The Wood Bakery and Thribas Tavern :)

    If you like beach holidays this island is the place to be,...

    If you like beach holidays this island is the place to be, hunt around a little and you may find a beach here and there with only you sunbathing and a Taverna just with 5 people dining like we did. (butterfly port) The main areas are crowded in July and the food rather mundane , im sure lovers of sea food will find a feast all over. the prices for drinks were more expensive with the cost of a Metaxa and coke 13 euros ( july 2024) people from all over Europe visit the area, we met Scots , Romanians , Brits, Italians, greeks many more. Important to know English and Greek widely spoken, other languages not so much.

    Easy to reach best beaches.

    Easy to reach best beaches. Too many tavernas, options, we prefer potamias to other towns. Giving a visit to bakery is a must. I recommend athos taverna/ golden beach, giorgos taverna / kirini for dinner. Also Thribas tavern on the road side for a quick lunch. Reaching to potamias much much easier than say limenas.

    The village is a good option for those who want to enjoy...

    The village is a good option for those who want to enjoy Golden beach, with its blue water, perfect sandy beach, nice beach bars. Also there are a lot of tavernas and cocktail bars, shops, pharmacies. Its also relatively close to the ferry in Thassos, to Marble beach as well.

    The location is good. The room is large and comfortable. It's close to the center and the sea. Parking is available. The garden is beautiful. There's a hanger on the balcony for hanging your beach gear. You can sit on the balcony. There's a kitchenette and a closet if you want to use it. We went to the place Nikos recommended. It was very nice. I recommend the hotel. It was very clean.

    The hotel, room and furniture were very new and clean. Location was perfect, the golden beach and lots of taverns are in a few minutes of walking distance. Room was small but had a nice balcony. If you want to have some snack in your room or a drink before dinner, a well working refrigerator is also in the room.

    The hotel is very good value for money. Our family enjoyed the breakfast and the restaurant area. The place is exceptionally clean. The bad sheets and towels were changed every 2 days. Good place for families with kids. It is locate about 5 minutes from the beach, but the area was quite busy in July.

    Great location, near to the beach. Everything is new and very good quality, comfortable and nice. Cleaning everyday and very well organized. Free parking close to the property. A pastry downstairs with good coffee as well. Everything was great. We will come again here when we choose Skala Potamias.
