The Villa Poseidon residence is a very good place to spend fantastic days on the beautiful Island of Zakynthos. Located on the east side of the island the wheather and climate are ideal. Sunny and warm in the daytime, always a fine breeze of air and not so hot in the night. The view in the blue sea is very nice. There are beautiful beaches not far away and Sotiria and Sakelarios have very good ideas and advice where to go. They are very nice hosts and it is a pleasure to have a Barbecue with them. They are both excellent cooks and prepare great meals with fresh fish for you, that can not be found in a normal restaurant. They are like good friends and due to that, you will not forget the vacation in their nice stone House residence. Many thanks to both, we had a very good time. Kind regards Andrea, Bernhard and Julie

The location was great, everything you need to enjoy your stay here is close, the beach is really close, in 50m. The boat trip, what was included in the reservation was amazing. The stuff is the most kind! The food was excellent.

We wanted to book for 6days but rooms were full and we were only able to book 1day in 1 room and 5 days in an other due to room availability. Upon arrival they told us they upgraded our room (chic) to a junior suite (with no extra charge!) so we could stay in that for the whole week and don't need to check in and check out again which was very kind first impression and made our day. Room were awesome, location is great easy to walk anywhere cool restaurants nearby, breakfast selection is enormous you can eat whatever you want, staff is super friendly. Pool is nice and warm with sunbeds.

Pothos was like a home from home. As a solo traveller you can sometimes feel a little bit uncomfortable in some hotels and apartments. This was never the case here. I was made to feel warmly looked after at every opportunity. It was such a lovely place. Hopefully i will be able to return in Sept this year. The accomodation is classically Greek apartment style but the rooms, surroundings, pool and bar area were spotless and there was an aurra of care. It is so clearly a treasured family business. The little things like a trip to the bar were made a pleasure as the welcome was so amazing. I feel blessed to have picked here to stay and to have met such great hosts.

All staff were extremely helpful. Always welcoming and attentive without being overbearing.Younger Yiota on reception was friendly, helpful and well informed. The accomodation was very clean and the cleaners extremely accommodating if we were in the room coming back later. Every surface eincluding glass doors and panels were polished daily Full size fridge and safe in room. Good variety at breakfast - juice, cereals, watermelon, yoghurt, ham cheese, cucumbers and tomatoes sliced, yoghurt, sausages, bacon eggs (in 3 ways), beans, tomatoes baked, mini croissants, bread for toast, jams, honey, cakes...something for everyone! Surrounding restaurants very good (Bekiris excellent) and close to the beach. The local supermarkets- including a Spar all reasonably priced. So wonderfully quiet at the pool for the 'deluxe' accommodation and no towels put down to reserve beds - one family did that on their first day then later looked very embarrassed on realising.g it was not the done thing! The transfer service paid for in addition was a fair fare and efficient.

The accomodation is in very nice historical houses with a wonderful big pool and surrounded by olive trees. The views are beautiful. You can meet there very friendly dogs ( especially Rosi ) and cats who make a very nice company. Also the owners are very helpful and nice. It’s absolutely great place for people who want experience the real Greece and explore the island by car.

Andi and the boys make you so welcome, it is exceptionally clean and the food at the snack bar is excellent. The location is great 5 minutes to the many bars and restaurants and 10 minutes to beach. It is evident that Andi and her team really enjoy what they do and this comes across in the excellent service. If we are in Zante again will only stay here, well done to you all.

    Loved the area and the intimate little beaches and wonderful...

    Loved the area and the intimate little beaches and wonderful tavernas and restaurants. Sad that people deem it acceptable to throw rubbish around though, families with small children in buggies may rue the lack of pavements. Use of a car or other transport really needed to get the most out of the area. Lovely snack bar EL run by the delightful Dennis and colleagues served up delicious food and drinks with a funky vibe that made an old man’s foot tap involuntarily!
