From the moment we pulled up in the taxi, we were excited about our stay. Beautiful entrance and flowers and a lovely big pool with flowing water from Greek urns. We received a big warm welcome from Vicky who brought us to our luxury suites, which were spotless and beautifully decorated. Katerina, Vickys daughter in law to be - served us a beautiful breakfast prepared freshly to your choice of time by her and Vicky. It was different every day - fruit, yogurt and honey, tea, coffee, juice,hot toast and freshly baked croissants all served with a cooked hot breakfast. Vaso was on reception and always on hand to phone us a taxi and give us advice on where to go. Nothing was too much trouble. We had some great chats with her, Vicky and Katerina. Katerina prepared our rooms each day to perfection and did some wonderful towel designs which were a wonderful surprise when we came back to our rooms later.

Everything is just so wonderful, the sea-view apartment, the pool area, the rock pool at the back, the facilities, the housekeepers always with a smile, coming to the room every single day. Georgina, she’s the sunshine of the place. Available, bending her back sideways to always answer to any questions. We loved her even before arrival, from the messages she sent to us. The locations is just fantastic, the little town so unique, not crowded, a 4 minutes drive to Zorbas beach, filled with tavernas and cafes. Just central to pristine water beaches. The apartment is all we ever needed, we stayed for 15 days, we never wanted to leave this place! 23 minutes drive from busy Chania, we enjoyed the ride back and we’re always looking forward to coming back to this peaceful oasis. Travelled with 2 kids (2 and 4) and could not have been more satisfied. Already gave the contact to a bunch of people, will gladly be back and suggest this place to everyone with or without kids. The hotel is an old French embassy, fully renovated two years ago. Amazing building, suite with jacuzzi was really nice (more like a small private pool). Food in general was very nice, of very high quality. Breakfast also very nice, a la carte. Above all, staff was amazing, giving us tips about where to go and where to eat, hats off to Vasiliki, Anna and Maria. It is also very close to the old town of Chania, avoiding all the noise and the crowdness of staying too close.

Very nice accomodation with awesome staff. As everybody already mentioned in the previous reviews, the owner is a kind and joyful person and she helped us a lot during our stay. We did not have any plans set up before arriving and she helped us with suggestions and guidance on how to reach certain places around Chania. The breakfast was delicious, loved it!

    Stavroa is licated in about 10-15 min from the Chania Internatuonal Aurport. It is a small village with one taverna and two small grocrey shops (marekts) nearby. The Zorba Beach is too crowded and about 10-15 min walk from the hotel.

    This town was far enough away from Chania city center to get away from the hustle/bustle yet close enough to be into more excitement/night life. Loved the hotel and its location, which provided beautiful sunset views and clear starry nights.

    We loved the beauty and nature in Stavros.

    We loved the beauty and nature in Stavros. There were 2 small well stocked supermarkets and 5 restaurants. The beach was beautiful and of course the Mountain which always captured your gaze- a very scenic place away from the hustle and bustle of the bigger towns. The Paradice Hotel luxury suites were first class and by far the best place to stay and as if that’s not enough, they have a massive deluxe extension and another huge pool opening in March 2024.

    Staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was very good, we didn’t find anywhere else that matched the quality and prices; amazing value! The environment of the resort was lovely from the gardens to the pool area to the area by the sea with pontoon. Could have been even better if the room had coffee/tea facilities.

    Stavros is a very calm place, with a great bay to swim in, even when the sea is agitated. It's great for families, but also for romantic couples that want to disconnect from the touristic vibe. We enjoyed the traditional cuisine in a lovely and cheap family restaurant - Zorbas Taverna.

    We went to Isla Brown Chania for our Honeymoon, straight away after wedding. We absolutely couldn't pick better place!!! Beatiful view, brand new/ modern hotel. Breakfast until 12 was fantastic 10+++ out of 10 ;) The food was great! The hotel provides shuttle bus for guests to Chania and Stavros Beach, excellent service!! Don't worry about being stuck in a hotel room Everything was amazing ! Thank you!!!

    Highly recommended place. This is a hidden gem in the natural Stavros surroundings. A charming location that combines all the comforts of a hotel with the freedom of a private apartment. The staff is very supportive and sympathetic. It’s a perfect place for families, featuring a small playground, a baby pool, and many other amenities. 5 minutes driving distance from shops, restaurants and beaches.

    Very nice, quiet hotel with a very good location in Stavros, 2 minutes from the Zorba’s beach, but also if you want to visit the western half of Crete. Stavros is also great if you don’t like herds of tourists and you want to have a more authentic experience.
