From Lyo (our hotel) to the beach is a 5-mins walk. Down/up a steep hill. The beach is pebbly, overpriced, full of umbrellas and crazy expensive water sports. Call me a grumpy Australian if you like, but I’m used to “nice sand” and “free” Beautiful expensive food tho. Rooms clean but small. Booked three view ocean room and had same view as two view ocean view which really only had one view. Small balcony to look out one direction over paved patio where sun chair sat. Far from town. No shopping nearby of any sort. Very windy! Beach nice. Water clear. Exceptional breakfast with plenty of options to choose from. The room was comfy, we got the one with the private hot tub. Staff was very helpful, polite, we were offered a welcome drink which was fabulous - iced brut champagne - upon arrival.
