Triopetra is Wild Crete.
Triopetra is Wild Crete. Still in diapers, virtually no infrastructure at all except for the few rather limited Taverna’s. But I am pleased to have seen it at this stage of its development. When winds are strong (and they CAN get very strong here)the beach delivers “dumper waves” which flipped me over, a large adult ! There is also a rocky shelf along the beach which is also dangerous for swimmers in windy weather conditions. There is no lifeguard, so in these conditions, be cautious. Triopetra has no shops at all of any kind, just a few taverns serving simple food. I like it this way!Guest review byJan CorinneItaly - 10.0

You need a car to get to Triopetra but you will rewarded by stunning, quiet , peaceful nature and no mass tourism. The two tavernas by the Leres beach are excellent in food and especially in Maria`s taverna super service and lovely staff!Guest review byAljaSwitzerland
