This has been my favourite stay in Guatemala. The space is extremely conducive to relaxation and gentle socialising. The wifi doesn't really work, but I think that's what makes this place special (if you really need wifi you can ask or kayak to a nearby restaurant - which also has great cerviche). Lots of time spent doing yoga, swimming, sitting in hammocks, playing cards and eating as a family. The staff are incredible (thanks Tim) and the vegetarian food served is amazing with large portions. Definitely recommend getting the massage too. I can't wait to come back

La Isla Dulce is the best accommodation we've ever stayed at. It lacked nothing! Everything was built with such attention to detail. The food was delicious (very good quality!!), our room was a dream and the couple Darja & Douglas and the other staff were as warm and helpful as you rarely see. We had the best shower here and everything was clean and comfortable. Our stay was the perfect end to an incredibly wonderful trip. We would have loved to stay longer, as it felt like a spa retreat. Thank you for everything!

When we arrived we felt like at home. All of their workers there are super nice, have a nice smile and they make everything happen that you feel super nice there. The standard of everything there is just higher than in any other hotel we have been so far in Guatemala. If it comes to the shower, bathroom, bed or any other facilities, it’s just great! Also the small details! And the best thing is really as already mentioned the staff there. This is one of the hotels where you will say in a few years, remember the „El Viajero“ in rio dulce, and you‘ll immediately remember which one it was.

Casa rosada is amazing! I loved the chill vibe, the river just there you can sit on the dock or lay down on a hammock.. the food is amazing! The staff is so polite and easy going!
