The breakfast as phenomenal and the views were unbeatable. Even though I was sick for part of my stay, I didn't mind because I got to look at the views from my bed! As well, we felt well-taken care of and really enjoyed the quietness and peace of the location.

What amazing hotel. This was my second time in Atitlan and last time I made the mistake of staying in a larger village. This time I chose a smaller village and Aviva hotel, and it was the perfect choice. The room was incredible, comfy bed, stunning views, tasty coffee and a terrace to relax. And the breakfast was sooo good. Run, don't walk to stay here if you visit lake atitlan.

I really loved Bambu, so much so that I extended my stay to a month. What a beautiful place to stay at, and such kind, helpful and friendly kitchen staff who make delicious food and smoothies. Shad and Filipe are great, super friendly and always make sure you are happy. Would definitely recommend this place. A bonus is my dorm bed was super comfy. What a delight to wake up every morning and see that gorgeous sunrise from the bedroom window! The dorms even have a large terrace with table, seating, hammock and plug point from which to work or hang out with a book. There's even space enough to do yoga. The place also has 2 adorable and friendly cats.

Loved that the hotel is super traditional and offers temazcal, a very authentic Guatemalan sauna experience. Staff were great organizing a guide for a sunrise hike up to the Mayan nose viewpoint. They were also super accommodating about having to change dates twice. Really enjoyed their typical Guatemalan breakfast as well.

Really nice hotel, we had a double room. First room in Guatemala that was actually fully dark and we could finally rest comfortably on the afternoon. Well and beautifully designed, large room and comfortable bed! The common kitchen is a great addition, lots of comfortable communal spaces and workspace. The pool is nice but didn’t seem very clean so we skipped it. There are nice events and a beach bar few minutes walk, the center is close too. We loved it.

-The comfort! The price is incredibly affordable, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. My friend and I each had our own bed. -The bathrooms and the entire property were kept very clean. The kitchen was also nice as it had most of the basic utensils for cooking. -The location was great. It was right on the main street of Panajachel. -They also provide laundry service for an extra charge.
