Location right in the centre of Cavtat, on the flat within a two minute walk of the resturants shops, harbour etc. The breakfast was amazing so much choice a basket of bread was first for each table, with a array of spreads, then choice traditional english breakfast to a cold table, meats, cheese, salad, yogurts, cereals and fresh fruit. Served by our every smiling waitress. The rooms are large and airy with air conditioning, They also have their own resturant a few steps away of a very high standard. It is a family run hotel and it certainly shows with the care and attention.

The location is absolutely perfect — perched right above the sea, the hotel offers breathtaking panoramic views that you can enjoy from nearly every corner . Waking up to the sound of waves and watching the sunset over the horizon was truly magical. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Whether it was recommendations for local spots or prompt service, their hospitality was top-notch. The rooms were immaculately clean, spacious, and exceptionally comfortable, with plush bedding and all the modern amenities you'd expect. The atmosphere throughout the hotel is peaceful and inviting. If you're looking for a serene coastal retreat with stunning views, outstanding service, and exceptional comfort, I can't recommend Hotel Vallum enough.

Everything was absolutely perfect! Hotel is super located, rooms are great, view from balcony is astonishing and food is excellent. Outdoor pools are super refreshing and great for kids. Hotel Staff is extremly friendly, this is the first time ever in Croatia that fresh fruits and bottled water have been waiting for us in our room when we arrived, nice touch. We arrived few hours before our check-in, but it was not a problem, our room was already cleaned up and ready. All in all, super positive experience, would highly recommend and of course would like to come again.

Hotel is located very close of the airport - just 8 minutes ride by taxi. The location is perfect, hotel is on the coast and just 10 minutes walk to Cavtat. Hotel rooms are clean and comfortable, all areas of the hotel are clean too, all inclusive service is great, breakfasts, lunches, snacks and dinners have great choice of different meals, you can use also bars with free drinks - on the beach and in reception hall. Hotel staff is really friendly, hotel offer two big pools, one small pool for children and beach for swimming. At the evening was usually possible to visit some nice performance of local musicians, hotel is great choice for families with children too.

Good location and great view of the city, sea and mountains! 5min walk from the city center. The apartment was new, clean and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. The apartment has a terrace and again, what a view of the sea to enjoy the sunset. A taxi from Dubrovnik to Cavtat cost only 20€ and everything is within walking distance. The landlord was very polite and caring, thank you!

    Just a lovely experience with enough to do. Lovely walks and scenery and plenty of great bars and restaurants to choose from.Staff also very friendly. Availability for trips were also very good and very much on hand.

    Liked the laid back, relaxed feel of Cavtat - quite different from usual Spanish resorts. Good selection of restaurants and bars, would say it’s more suited for 30+ but there were lots of families there too. A mix of nationalities. Dubrovnik about 50 mins each way by boat. Smallish selection of shops, liked Croatino the best. Good swimming in the sea. Would recommend for a relaxing break.

    It’s a very classy small town with stunning bays, impressive private boats visiting, plenty of water-sport activities and countless little boats taking people to islands and to/from Dubrovnik. Also plenty of restaurant and bar options. Water was a lovely temperature to swim in (Sept). It is so close to the airport, which is very convenient. We weren’t planning to hire a car but ended up doing so because it was necessary to get to a decent/large supermarket (Lidl). We found the small supermarkets in Cavtat were unsuitable if you’re self-catering (limited choice and pricey). The car meant we could explore more too. We would highly recommend a trip to Molunat. It was stunning, quiet, and take your swimming stuff. Also, Mlini and Sebreno were also beautiful.

    Cavtat is a beautiful place, with many attractions great for walking and relaxing. It is very easy to get around, you can take the water taxi to visit Dubrovnik or local bus. Plenty of restaurants to enjoy the local food along the promenade. The sunsets are wonderful in the evening. It is very safe and the people are very friendly.

    The town with 2 personalities, on one side is a sleepy fishing village feel, on the other is the night life, yachts and hustle and bustle. We enjoyed the beach, walking the city, eating gelato and excellent dining.

    We really enjoyed Cavtat, we loved swimming off the rocks...

    We really enjoyed Cavtat, we loved swimming off the rocks and round the headland, visiting the mausoleum and the art gallery and strolling around the town. It was extremely easy to get there just 15 mins from the airport

    Located just a short downhill walk from Cavtat centre, with a great view from the spacious balcony, this little apartment was perfect for our last night in Croatia and Nada, our host,couldn’t have been more kind or welcoming. She kindly arranged an early taxi collection for us back to the airport and even got up at 4:45am to ensure we were up and say goodbye to us 🥰

    My partner and I had the most beautiful, relaxing stay in Cavtat, Croatia. We had previously spent time in other parts of Croatia but this was by far our best experience. The spacious and well designed apartment felt luxurious and was extremely comfortable. The location was perfect. It was so central and close to everything yet it felt secluded and quiet.
