I spent a wonderful week at the Lopar San Marino Resort. The hotel is very well located, just a short walk from the beautiful sandy beach. The staff were friendly and always helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable. The food was tasty with a good variety every day. It was the perfect place for a relaxing holiday, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great vacation in Lopar.

Spacious apartment, with equipped kitchen, very large balcony with clothes dryer and hooks. Washing machine, shower in the yard where you could get rid of the sand that comes from the beach. Yard with many trees and umbrellas. The beach is very close, 2 minutes away. Restaurants and market in the area. The lady is very kind. Even though she doesn't speak English, we managed to communicate. She waited for us with cold drinks, on departure she gave us a gift.

    A cool place for people who want a sandy beach like in Italy...

    A cool place for people who want a sandy beach like in Italy + a safe sea without the urchins but at the same time a crystal clear waters so typical for Croatia with many possibilities of snorkeling once you use paddleboard and go a bit further from the coast (about 500m is sufficient) It was also a green island with many pine trees giving enough shade in many beaches + making great sceneries. Many possibilities for hiking, too.

    Lopar is a very nice place for families with kids younger...

    Lopar is a very nice place for families with kids younger than 10 years, starting from baby age due to the shallow and warm water, the sandy beach and the lively but still calm village. I would recommend Lopar to stay for 1-2 weeks maximum, as you can travel around Rab island within this time and see all its attractions. Also recommend the Glass boat catamaran trip to nearby islands, renting a jetski is also fun, and you can visit many other beaches including Suha Punta for swimming.

    Lopar is a beautiful island, it has 2 sand beaches.

    Lopar is a beautiful island, it has 2 sand beaches. The owner of the stores in the plein next to the beach were not friendly to the customers, they just tell how much it cost with no smile, as that they "hated" the people who are able to go for a vacation. I feel that they are not attractive to the tourism industry, which they should. They should cooperate with the government to build their tourism industry with being attractive : "smile and friendliness". Different when I went to the Rab city centre, all the store owners were very friendly, they say "Hi" they welcoming the customers, they were not angry if the customers only just looked around. Anyway, the question is : do I want to go back to Lopar? Yes, definitely. Lopar has beautiful beaches, the water is clear, my kids love to snorkeling. The food are delicious.

    Rajska beach is the best beach for children in all of...

    Rajska beach is the best beach for children in all of Croatia. However, in July and August it is crowded (like all other places). There are plenty of entertainment options. The sand is fine - on the beach and also when entering the water (even about 100 m from the beach towards the sea), the water is clean without seaweed. Children can play in the water without any worries. Lopar offers everything like any other resort - shops, restaurants, nightlife, attractions for children and adults.

    Amazing place to go to with kids.

    Amazing place to go to with kids. Great sandy beaches but Livacina is the best. not too big but big enough with the shortest walk through the water to get to where you can swim (deep enough). Great restaurants around. Would recommend Creshendo as the food is great and the staff are the best in town. Family owned and operated. Super lovely people.

    Very beautiful croatian traditional stone cottage, tastefully renovated. I have been on some places in Croatia already, but never experienced such a cleanliness. Comfortable, spottless, nice big terace. Patricia is a fabulous host, she was very nice to us and helpfull. Lopar is perfekt place, you find there a bit of everything- wild beaches one side & beaches with bars and sunbeds on other. Trully, i can only recomend this place to everyone!
