Great holiday home that lived up to our expectations. We particularly liked the well-maintained outdoor area with beautiful outdoor furnitures and barbecue area. The house was very well equipped, with everything we needed for the holiday. Gordon and his wife had put a lot of thought into the details and were also very pleasant and helpful throughout our stay. Ivo and his wife were so hospitable. From the personal greeting at the bus stop, to the welcome jug of freshly homemade lemonade, cut firewood for the barbecue and even a taste of his homemade wine. Lumbarda is idyllic if you like peace and tranquility. Simple life! The local wine farms make fabulous wines and provide for a perfect wine and cheese platter tasting environment.

The terrace is great with a nice seaview and plenty space. From the appartment to the sea it was only 50 meters to a stair that leads to a nice place where you can into the sea and laying around. Plenty opportunities to sit in the sun or shadow. Very quiet neighbourhood with a look at Lumbarda village at the other side of the bay. You can walk to there in 10 minutes or swim in 20 minutes. And last but not least the brother of the owner was very helpful (speaks Croatian and French)

Excellent location, in the middle of stunning scenery and vineyards but a large supermarket within 5 mins walk and 4 beaches, all within a 15 minute walk. Lovely restaurants and bars within 10 minutes. Host was excellent and helpful. Well equipped apartment of a good size.

    Lumbarda, lovely beaches and one of the best Croatian wineries (Bire) just next to the beautiful city of Korčula. You get to see both, and all the islands in front (use hop on and off option!) while relaxing. Korčula gets crowded and is a bit pricey. Lumbarda is thus much better stay

    We loved the apartment and the location.

    We loved the apartment and the location. It was great to be able to rent e-bikes and travel all over the local area of Lumbarda and the Old City. We also had a rental car and drove to a beach that was beautiful about 29 minutes away and all over the island. There is a great restaurant nearby that we went to on the water. The food is excellent. We had a steak dish and a seafood pasta. Both were delicious.

    If you're visiting Dubrovnik, you have to get to Lumbarda if...

    If you're visiting Dubrovnik, you have to get to Lumbarda if you want to get out of the bustle. Little town in the countryside and extremely pretty and everyone is super-friendly. There's many vineyards too and two sandy beaches (Bilin Zal and Plaža Vela Pržina).

    It's a very quiet, peaceful spot (we went at the end of the season, in early October). Lumbarda is small, with just a Supermarket, a gift shop, a couple of restaurants and a bar or two. The beaches 'Bilin Zal' and 'Vela Przina' are sandy and the sea is crystal clear. There's a water taxi that runs every 30 mins from Tatinja beach to the islands and Korcula Town. There are also buses which run to Korcula Town (not sure how frequent they are, as we didn't use them). There are plenty of vineyards to taste the local wine and you can do Kayaking trips from 'Spirit of Korkyra'.

    The best place if you want to truly relax and get away from...

    The best place if you want to truly relax and get away from it all. It's a little village, with two grocery shops, a range of small restaurants and the main village restaurant right at the center which seems to be the favorite place for both locals and tourists alike to relax. Lots of places to walk just to get around and explore the beaches or take a dip in the sea wherever you are, and very easy to get around. Can't wait to come again.

    We found that the beach Przna was the best around 30 mins walk from this apartment. There’s also a very nice restaurant dusitza 100m from apartment, we tipped 2 euros when drinking and 5 euros when eating, most restaurants still preferred cash.

    Lumbarda is beautiful and so easy to wander around. The apartment was in a lovely spot.. Just a 15 minute stroll to the supermarket and a number of sandy beaches. Some really really good Konoba within a 5 minute walk.. The hostess was lovely, friendly and welcoming. The space was perfect for me as a solo traveller. There is a lovely swimming spot at the bottom of the drive and some loungers for sole use of the guests. The apartment had a very private terrace witb water views. There was a kettle and a fridge.. I really enjoyed my stay.

    Certainly! Here's your text polished: --- We stayed at Villa Cvita in Lumbarda for three days and had the best time. Our apartment had everything we needed, and our host, Cvita, was amazing and very nice to us. She responded to every message on WhatsApp very quickly, which was really helpful for us. We had our car parked in the shade and our own beach with sunbeds right in front of the house. Korčula was amazing, but without Villa Cvita, our experience wouldn’t have been the same.

    Everything is even better in person than in the pictures! :) The view from the terrace is amazing. There’s a beach just below the house, right next to a promenade that leads to the center of Lumbarda in under 10 minutes. Vedrana is a lovely, warm, and incredibly welcoming host. She made sure we had all the information and amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The house has a spacious, covered private parking spot right by the street. Everything was spotless and well-maintained.

Free parking, proximity to very good restaurants & wineries, washing machine and beach towels all added to the enjoyment of the place! Linda, the host, was very helpful in suggesting what we could do while in Korčula and recommended an excellent restaurant within walking distance of the apartment. Definitely recommend
