We used Mlini for a night before flying out of Dubrovnik Airport. We started our Croatia holiday in Split, then did a Bike and Boat through the islands, ending up in Dubrovnik. Seeing how far Dubrovnik is from the airport, I sought closer accommodations, and it was a quick 10 minutes in the early morning when our driver picked us up at 5:40 a.m. After being there, for one day, I wish I could have spent several days there just relaxing!Guest review byBarbaraUnited States - 10.0

There was a lot to do in the area, whether a person wanted to shop at a shopping mall, or smaller souvenir shops. The downtown Dubrovnik area was a short ride away, which offered great views and history of Old Town where a person could spend several days at all the shops, restaurants, nightclubs, and even take a cooking class - which we did. There were plenty of gellato shops on every street. I highly recommend the Local Cooking Class where we learned how to make bread, cook mussels, make macaroni, then candied almonds for a sweet treat. Great central location to experience the joys and scenery of Dubrovnik and the surrounding area. Cavtat & The Old Town are a must. Use the Water Taxis and definitely use the a Dubrovnik pass for 60 euros as this saved us money on buses, the city's wall walk and the Museums. Croatia has an amazing coastline and everywhere we went was well kept & very clean, , Drinks out can be expensive but there are plenty of restaurants that can accommodate most budgets. The food is Croatia was exceptional and to be honest we did not have a single bad meal out. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful! Even down to getting us some paracetamol when the local pharmacy wasn’t open, rooms were cleaned every single day and new towels and bed linen provided. I can’t speak highly enough of this fantastic hotel. This was the best choice we made. The village where the apartment is based was so easy to get uber's from, to the airport, into old town and to the hotel where our conference was. Super comfy, easy communication with the hosts and they even gave us extra duvet's because it was a bit chilly.
