Absolutely lovely hotel. First of all, hotel staff is completely lovely, to the maximum standards, completely non intrusive to you but extremely helpful. Rooms are nice size and pool and the bar are lovely. Sea is 22 steps away. Strong recommendation

The apartment is cosy and tidy, and there is everything that you need. The location is very good, and there is an amazing view of the sea from our balcony. The owner of the apartment is super friendly and so welcoming! There is a conditioner in the apartment that makes fresh air in hot weather. We definitely would recommend this apartment and we would like to come next time and rent this apartment again. Thank you so much!

Podstrana is lovely little area with a couple of restaurants...

Podstrana is lovely little area with a couple of restaurants on the beach walk. You really need a hire car if you want to more than stay on the beach all day every day. We visited KIRKA National Park, Skradin, Trogir, Zadar and Split itself all of which I would definitely recommend visiting we did all this in a week and it just about right.

We loved the town of Podstrana, the beach areas were easy to access, there were sun loungers and umbrellas for hire if the pebble beach was too much! It was quiet season during our stay and we negotiated a discount on our sunbeds.... The bars were also quiet and some restaurants had closed. We really liked the peace and quiet and were never short of some where to eat or have drinks. The choice of watersports and boat trips was reduced due to end of season but still available on request. Recommend Konoba Carevi Dvori in Old Podstrana, you'll need a car or taxi to the top of the hill, pre-bookings only. Lovely atmosphere and setting.

Initially we thought it was a bit far from Split, but then...

Initially we thought it was a bit far from Split, but then realised it has a lot to offer (good beaches, restaurants, cafes) and transport into Split is one bus ride. For us it was all we needed - swimming every day in sea and hotel pool, good lunches and dinners in local restaurants, a trip to Split and a trip to the island of Brac for variety. Omis nearby is interesting too.

Podstrana is probably over crowded in high summer, but it was pretty empty in May when people prefer to stay in Split. We found it a perfect balance - 30 minutes to Dioclesian's Palace by bus, with a return costing €2.50 (with the Promet Split App), yet with properties right by the beach. The place is quiet in May (and I assume totally closed in winter), which is good, but for example we had trouble finding anything to eat on Sunday afternoon, with shops closed. People are really friendly and it seems the whole of Dalamatia is relatively safe.

The main coast road between Split and Dubrovnik (route 8)...

The main coast road between Split and Dubrovnik (route 8) runs through Podstrana so it can be quite busy at times. However there are some really nice places to eat such as Hotel Eden and restaurant Arkada, both of which are mid-price range (but expensive if you have wine), but worth a visit at least once. Less expensive local eateries are about, but we were only there for 3 nights and made the most of it. There are several supermarkets along the main road for groceries etc. Most of the "beach" area appears to be pebbly/rocky, although we did not explore very far from our hotel. There is a main bus route through Podstrana which links it with Split centre. Due to personal circumstances we did not venture very far so are unable to rate other possible attractions in the town.

Najbolji objekat sa najboljim uslovima.Sve cisto,lijepo i mirise.Apartman na samoj plaži,sve novo u apartmanu. Plaza cista i uredna U sklopu cijene imate bukvalno sve,samo ponesite licne stvari. Domacini su vise nego ljubazni i vode racuna da gostu nista ne nedostaje. Hrana ukusna i veoma dobar i velik izbor. Rado cu se opet vratiti u ovaj objekat koji zaslužuje najvisu ocjenu . Sve preporuke 👌

Excellent new room in a new house with a view of the forest and Split and the sea. The apartment is located on a hill above Podstrana, a little further from the beach, but that didn't matter at all. Downstairs, a well-equipped shared kitchen and living room, the room is separately equipped. A large comfortable bed, a nice bathroom, and a wardrobe in the room. A very pleasant shared pool with a view, around the pool various sitting areas with tables and a view of the sea and mountains. Parking in the garage and in the private yard.

The stay was great. The rooms were neat and the location was excellent. I liked staying away from split and Podstrana was not crowded at all. The beach next to the stay was great and I spent most of my time there. The A.C. was not bad, it was hard to find the right temperature for me (but that is subjective). Great places to eat close by (for e.g. Bili Pivac)

The Apartment was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. It is on a very good location and the host was very kind and available at any time for any question we had. He also had some helpful advice regarding traffic and parking in Split. I would recommend this Apartment to everyone who wants to spend vacation in a peaceful place on the Croatian coast.
