Beautiful property at the sea side, wonderful views from the room, attentive and very friendly staff that would go out of their way to make your stay perfect. I would point out ladies in the breakfast room and their fresh pancakes every day. Rooms were newly renovated and lovely. All in all, perfect stay for many reasons

We came to Basanija for 2 weeks. First thing that caught our eye was the stone house on the photos which is even more beautiful in reality. We had an apartment downstairs and even though it's close to the street it is very quiet. The apartment was made very thoughtfully - it had sharp nives and even a blender! Outside were 2 electric grills which you can use whenever you want. The terrace is all covered in plants like grapes and kiwi and gave great shadow and coolness in very hot days (yes Basanija has always great weather). Next to the house is a cafe with very good coffee and ice cream. 3 minutes from the house there is a bakery and on the way to the beach there is a market. The beach was beautiful, no sand but it really doesn't bother at all and there is a beach bar Levante with great service and drinks. For olive oil I recommend to go to Oma Jola's which is 15 minutes walk from the apartment. It's olive Grove run by Polish-Croatian family. The hosts are an amazing people who made our holidays even more special. They are very nice and caring couple who make sure that you have everything you need and even extra and at the same time making sure that you have your personal space. I recommend this place for everyone who wants to fully relax - Basanija itself is a very quiet village it is also close to Italy and Slovenia so its a great tourist base.

    Savudrija is a very small village with a couple of restaurants, and a couple of campings. If you are looking for a place to relax and from where to start daily adventures in other destinations, that's the place to be. Plus, it has several cycling paths.

    I was there in the off-season, it's certainly very different...

    I was there in the off-season, it's certainly very different when it's full of tourists and cars and kids and campers in summer. There's no supermarket but a small bakery selling fresh bread and produce. There's a local olive oil producer in town which was a delight to visit. Lots of excellent paths for walking along the coast. Views like a dream!

    Savudrija is nothing special, there is a good beach at the autocamping and nothing else. We only booked here our accomodation because we wanted to visit the Slovenian beaches and cities and the border is close here and here was cheap place to stay.

    Villa Valdepian is a beautiful historical house with so much charm. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The highlight was definitely Anna’s Garden – the food was amazing and truly the best in the area. The location is peaceful and perfect for relaxing, with lovely surroundings for walks and exploring Savudrija. Overall, a wonderful stay that we would happily recommend and return to.

    Quiet location near the sea. We had everything to cook. Our rooms were clean and beautiful. Not far from Zambrattia is Umag (5 km) where you can buy products in Lidl/Kaufman, fresh fish. Perfect place for kids (nearest beach is from sand, not from rocks, and water is not deep). In ~2 hours or less (depends on traffic) is Italian Triest city, good place for 1 day trip.

    The hotel is new, very nice, offers beautiful views and excellent sports and wellness facilities. First impression - it was very clean. Despite the size of the facility and (I think) full occupancy, I did not feel the crowds. Free (and very sunny) parking is still a great convenience, as is the kitchen in the suite especially for those traveling with a child

    Location is great, a hundred meters from the sea, which is for me extremely important as I spend 90% of my holiday time swimming in the Adriatic. Breakfast was really good when it comes to the variety and quality of food and drinks, however I enjoy sitting, eating, drinking coffee outside.
