The accommodation perfectly met our expectations. The room was clean with a comfortable bed, a balcony and AC. There was a shop and the beach right across the street. The shared bathroom was clean and I only had to wait for a few minutes once. I've read many reviews complaining about the staff. Based on my experience, the owner only knows a few words of English, but she is very friendly and helpful. I always got the information I needed, and we even had a nice chat by combining different languages. The only other staff member we met was the cleaning lady, who only speaks Croatian but always greets you with a smile or a few words. The breakfast was really nice. There were three types of cereal, apples, bread, toast, jams, Nutella, honey, processed cheese, biscuits, salty cheese, millet porridge, coffee, tea, milk, and water. After a while, the owner also brought chilled water, fruit juice, and scrambled eggs to each table. Unfortunately, we left too early because pancakes were being prepared in the kitchen :) Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and would happily have stayed a few more days.

Mario have been an amazing host. He proactively text messaged prior to our arrival and confirm our arriving time so he and his staff can greet us at our arrival even we arrived late as we went for dinner before heading to the villa. Location of the Villa is convenient as it’s between the Golden Horn Beach and town centre, or walk distance to both. We stayed at sea view 2 bedrooms apartment which is spotless clean and as photos shown. Breakfast is great with some variety each days. The villa has its own swimming pool which is a great alternative option on windy days. There are also 2 wellbeing centres nearby. I highly recommend this place if you are visiting Bol.

We had an amazing experience everything was perfect—from the beautiful, clean, and well-equipped space to the excellent location with nice view. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, always available if I needed anything and making us feel truly welcome. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

As usual, staying there for the third time, everything was great! The host greeted us with a drink and homemade cake, and when we were leaving, she made us a coffee and checked the weather (we had to wait because of the strong winds). We are very grateful and will surely visit again in the future.

    A small city with a lot to do. Not too crowded, with a living night life. This is a city that is not well known yet and it is evolving tourist wise. Best thing for price/quality. Parking are cheap or free, restaurants are not too expensive...

    Starigrad Paklenica is an interesting blend between sea and mountain, a place like no other.. You can enjoy what the sea has to offer you, boat trips, snorkeling, etc, and furthermore, having a nice hike in the mountains, maybe climbing up the walls in the National Park, where you can find the climb experts waiting to teach you how to safely walk up the walls... You can really find here good food, nice people and beautiful places like Vecka Kula Beach, Riviera Paklenica, Velebit National Park, Cernovac Caves and the rest of them, I invite you to discover yourself traveller..

    Hated that Booking did not state that our Apartment was next...

    Hated that Booking did not state that our Apartment was next to a late night dance club. Wanted a quite stay in a quiet place next to the sea but was rudely kept up late into the night. When I want a party Vacation I may come back to Starigrad Paklenica, but unfortunately this trip was for peace and quiet so I would avoid Starigrad Paklenica for those who want a Peaceful and Elegant Croatian trip down the Jadranska Magistrala.

    You have mountains (hiking) and the seaside (swimming) in the same location. Nearby it's a natural park Paklenica well worth visiting. The main road wasn't too busy so the place is quiet enough.

    The city is without any historic center.

    The city is without any historic center. It riminded me more of a typical Spanish tourist resorts, which is a reason I do not go for holiday to Spain but to Croatia. This is not a typical historic small Croatian town like Stari Grad on Hvar, otok Rab or bigger cities.

    Great place for hikers, climbers and nature lovers.

    Great place for hikers, climbers and nature lovers. Small and calm town/ village close to NP Paklenica. Perfect opportunity for all those who want to avoid crowds and wish to experience Croatia in a bit different way (hiking tours or climbing instead of spending time on the beach).

    I absolutely loved my stay at Hotel Vicko. The family running the place made the experience more enjoyable. They are very welcoming and kind. You really feel at home here. The room was very clean, has AC and a very nice view when you wake up. I loved the breakfast, it was really good! Lots of choice, local products and fruit from their garden. Also, the beach is literally 1 minute away which is amazing.

    Vesna was an amazing host, greeting us on arrival with lovely Croatian coffee and tea. The room was very accommodating for my partner and I, with clean facilities and a spacious balcony to relax on. The beach was only a 30 second walk away and supermarkets only 5 minutes down the road. Vesna gave us a sewing kit when we were in need and was always up for a chat, she was an exceptional host!

    I loved my vacation at Villa Rajna. The location was excellent—close to restaurants and the beach, which was perfect. The rooms were very nice and clean, and the hosts were very kind and hospitable.
