I can't recommend Fjaka‘s apt enough! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how modern and clean the place is—such a fresh, well-designed space. Honestly, the thing I loved most was how spotlessly eclean the room was. It’s clear they take so much care with every detail. They have a really beautiful and fruitful garden. But what really made our stay special was the host. They were incredibly kind, warm, and went out of their way to help us with everything we needed. When I got delayed for check-in because I wasn’t familiar with the roads, they were easy to reach and super understanding, which took a lot of stress off. To top it off, they had pancakes ready for us when we arrived—such a thoughtful touch that made us feel welcome right away. The parking space is also really spacious, which is a big plus. If you’re staying in Pula, this is the place to book. We had a fantastic time!

We arrived too late after 175km on our bikes through Istra and were more than warmly welcome and treated like friends. The wonderful guesthouse is well located and easy to reach. Everthing is well equiped ranging from a perfect kitchen to a big bathroom and a nice sleeping room with cosy beds. The hsot family are wonderful and generous people.

Velanera Hotel had a great modern vibe. It was quiet, clean and comfortable, and our room was very spacious. The staff were excellent. A fabulous base for travellers with a car who wish to explore southern Istria - there is ample free parking on site, making this a stress free option. it's about a 12 minutes drive to Pula, and 20 minutes to Cape Kamenjak. There is a good restaurant on site too.

    Nice quiet location as a base for a holiday.

    Nice quiet location as a base for a holiday. The town is small and relatively unremarkable. A church and small grocery store are at the heart Of it, from where a number of roads spiral off. We enjoyed dinner at a small taverna one evening, food was good and it had a friendly atmosphere. If we had been staying somewhere else, Valtura would not be on our list of places to visit as there is not a lot to see or do there. This is though, exactly what makes it a great location for a quiet holiday base, plus the vicinity to the airport, Pula city and many beaches.
