The host were welcoming and helpful. The apartments are in spotless condition and wel maintained with a beautiful garden. The location is in a nice quiet area 12-15minutes walking distance from the center. About 4 mins walking there is a small supermarket with everything what you need. I do recommend this place to others

Great for family vacation to visit the area and enjoy the lakeside for 3-5 days. You can spend half days visiting area and half days at the beach. Lake is shallow (1,2m deep) for over 150m from shore. Grass beach is excellent for games and relaxing. Restaurants and shops on the beach. You can easily discover the Balaton Lake area from here. There is a view tower with lake museum 12 min drive away. It also has a nice playground for kids. Ferry crossing to Tihany peninsula can be reached by ferry which is 25min from the village. Nice experience for children. Tihany village is beautiful, with nice view over lake. Excellent restaurant for lunch. Szigligeti Castle is about 1h20mim drive away. Great ruin to visit with children. Steep climb, interesting explanations on the history of the region and castle. At the bottom of the castle is the best ice cream shop of all the lake area :).

Marina apartman hotel is located at the very heart of Balatonszemes, both Marina and beach are only 1-2 minutes of walking distance, as well as some really nice places for Pizza (Kisnápoly), Café (Marina) or Restaurant (Pékbisztró). Apartman offers comfortable and safe parking, really nice swimming pool, besides the apartman itself. Apartman had been beautiful, clean and well equipped, with AC in each room, lake-view terrace. Washing machine had been a nice surprise given my passion for running.

atmosphere, the interior design, location – so near by the beautiful shoreline. thoughtful details & well equipped with everything you need, even extras such as a picnic blanket, made our stay very very comfortable. the Village Szemes beats all the other ones on the same shore hands down, much cuter and more authentic while at the same time very well kept

The location of this hotel is very good. Is near the lake, it has train station and some small caffe shops. the breakfast was very good and varied. there were many things to choose.
