Nice city, definitely suitable for a holiday. The center near the port is beautiful, well-kept. Around the road to the port there are many options to satisfy your thirst and hunger. It's a nice little town with a marina, newly updated...
It's a nice little town with a marina, newly updated boardwalk with a nice splash pad for kids and a beautiful park. There's some great wellness hotels in the area, which is the main attraction for us. There's also a party beach for the younger crowd in season. Siofok is also a great spot to hop on a boat and visit Tihany across the pond, or just go for a leisure boat ride. We only stayed for 2 nights but Siofok is a lovely little town with some very sea-sidey vibes. The town itself had everything we needed and the lakeside had some nice areas and "a sea-front" feel. It is located in a new part of Siofok where a lot of new appartments are realized for tourism. There is a bus stop just 5 minutes walk from the building that take you into Siofok center in 10 minutes. The Balaton lake is 10 minutes walk. The appartment is spacious, clean and nicely decorated.
