The town is full of green areas and sculptures and there are many coffee shops and restaurants with great food. There's not much to say about the city.
There's not much to say about the city. It's one of those I'd love to live in. I'm amazed by its greenery, architecture, and many amenities that make life more comfortable for its citizens. Szeged is a lovely town along the Tisza River.
Szeged is a lovely town along the Tisza River. There is a great path along the river perfect for walking and riding a bike. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from and a lively cafe scene. Szeged is a wonderful city to explore.
Szeged is a wonderful city to explore. It is somewhat small compared to cities in the united states and other major metropolises, but there is a deep history in the city that provides amazing views of architecture, and wonderful opportunities to learn about the legacy of the city. With the relative value of the USD in Hungary food was very fun and affordable to explore, with the particular highlight being Szeged style fish soup found at an old fishery a 30min walk west along the river from the city center. As far as particular attractions many can be "seen" within a single day but touring and learning about the churches synagogues and historic buildings requires much more time likely a few days at least.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

City is historical museum! Gorgious. Tidi, quiet, not many people on streets, buildings are from AustroHungarian Empire, and every building is jaw dropping. Prices for tourists acceptable, public transport excellent, generally urbanisticaly very appealing. Great old time building housing terme: spas, pool, sauna ets. Just walking in there makes one feel like aristocracy. One can tell its inhabitants are fine cultured people with long historical tradition ....Enjoyed it very much. The room had everything necessary and anything extra can be requested. My journey to Szeged was quite long and the friendly reception staff managed to move me into a room earlier. The hotel is also so close to the centre and the train station so the location is very convenient.
