    Very beautifull city with nice architecture and narrow street. Tjhe artists shops are really beautifull and the restaurants offer great food (local cusine and international). Perfect for a relaxing stay.

    Such a pretty little town especially if the weather is good.

    Such a pretty little town especially if the weather is good. We went out of season (April) so a lot of places weren't open but we were able to find a choice of restaurants for our evening meal. We were only there for 24 hours so didn't have time to visit the various museums so perhaps a couple of days would have been better. Only downside was the heaps of tourists/tour groups. I imagine in the summer it would be heaving with people so I was glad we went when we did.

    Szentendre is a picturesque town with a lot of interesting...

    Szentendre is a picturesque town with a lot of interesting alleys to walk through and find hidden gems, including the walk down to the Danube River and along the path towards the Japanese Garden. I also visited Skansen the Open Air Museum which was an hour’s walk although you can take the bus. Many of the reconstructed buildings have information in English. I enjoyed the weekend beak to the North of Hungary!

    This city is a hiden gem near to the capital.

    This city is a hiden gem near to the capital. Worth the visit if you arround the capital. If you traveling with family and kids and not that fancy about the big cities than I would recommend you to consider to have an accommodation in Szentendre and visit BP during the day. It is just 30-40 minutes away with public transport, and you have trains every 5-10 minutes.

    Szentendre should be visited when the weather is nice, best in summer. Beautiful streets, landscapes, food... in autumn-winter it is quite deserted, except on weekends. The hotel we stayed in does not justify the price for the quality it provides.

    Cozy town located on the beautiful river bank. Perfect place for recharging your battery 🔋! Small bistros all around the place. You can enjoy traditional slow-cook food. Also there is a very good Mediterranean Balkan Taverna ADRIA. We recomand it from our ❤
