Hadn't stayed anywhere quite like this before and what an interesting discovery. All inclusive but very different to what I imagined it would be. The aqua and wellness facilities were brilliant and much needed after a full day driving. Felt so refreshed after the pools and different sauna/steam rooms! Dinner was a delight, so many options and all very fresh and obviously made on site with quality ingredients. All tastes and allergies catered for as well which was nice to see in Hungary. Good attentive service. Room was great, comfortable and nice beds. Breakfast again huge selection of really good food. And regularly replenished. The clientele was mainly older, Hungarian retired and their families. Hope this place continues in this way for many years to come, it could so easily become european-ised and lose everything that makes it very good!

The interior of the apartment is well designed. All furniture, wall painting, ceiling lights, kitchen equipment, shower and so on, everything fits together, that's really great 👍. The kitchen is well equipped, there are all so enough coffee pads and other staff. The rooms are big and very very high. Air conditioning and heating are available. The apartment is in the centre of Tapolca, all so the cave and "lake" are only 2 minutes to walk. The only suggestion from my point of view would be a glas door instead of the curtain at the shower 😉.

We called the host at check-in and they kindly came in person to show us around the room. Please note that it's on the 4th floor with no elevator, but once you enter the apartment, the breathtaking view and cleanliness of the room make it all worth it. They welcomed us with chocolates, and when we asked for dish soap, they brought it right away—along with a bottle of local wine (Lugas Apartman Otelló-Izabella 2020)! The wine was delicious, and the overall hospitality was outstanding. Truly a thoughtful and kind host who made our stay memorable. Thank you so much!

    The view was great. Very close to the park area.

    The view was great. Very close to the park area. Very clean and comfortable. The space around the toilet is tight, especially around the shoulder area where a wooden box juts out of the wall. I can't remember now, but the apartment is up 3 or 4 flights of stairs.

    Small rather typical Hungarian town with friendly people.

    Small rather typical Hungarian town with friendly people. Excellent place to stay if you want to enjoy Lake Balaton AND a small town's facilities AND beautiful excursions in the volcanic mountains surrounding the western part of the lake. You will have all this without the overpopulation now characteristic to the eastern part of Lake Balaton. Connection by car from Austria is easy and quick.

    Great place to visit.

    Great place to visit. Lovely stay in Gabriella Hotel, but Hotel Pelion was not so good. Would recommend visiting this area of Hungary. Locals are friendly and welcoming. Most places have easy access and you could manage without your own transport. Food is a big plus in Hungary too.

    Francesca is a great hostess and welcoming. The apartment has tow rooms, living room and tow terraces, the TV has lots of channels and the parking is free and kept with barrier. The a.c. is great and also the hitting works well. It's very close to tapolca's caves and 20 minutes driving from shumeg, 30 minutes from Keszently, 15 minutes from the closest beach.

    Great location, friendly and very helpful hosts, who showed us the city's attractions and recommended good places to eat. Very clean room and bathroom. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay in Tapolca.

    Very nice yard with a terrrace and sun beds. You could also park your car in the garden. The house was very clean and well equiped. Close to the castles and Tapolca cave. Very friendly staff !

    Beautiful, clean, comfortable place, right next to the gorgeous Mill Lake (Malom to) in downtown Tapolca. It is large and elegant with a full kitchen. Owners are helpful and courteous.
