This is a great hotel that I did not expect in Semarang. Bright lobby, great rooms, interesting and inspiring facilities. It may not be a well-known international hotel chain, but in everything this hotel surpasses, for example, a Hilton on the Nusa Dua beach in Bali three times over. Great breakfast, extremely friendly and unobtrusive staff, wonderful little details like macaroni biscuits that welcome you in the room. We were in the hotel twice in the space of five days, the second time we took the best room at the top of the hotel, which is the real poetry of the hotel's beauty. Praise!

Right in the old town location (Kota Lama) was brilliant for exploring, eating and photography. Very modern ‘cool’ hotel, but with solid design and amenities. Excellent room. Not too far from main station. Very helpful lobby and hospitality staff.

Semarang offers so much more than initially taught, off the touristy itenary, with exquisite architecture, delicious local food and fascinating history. Showing flourishing signs of rejuvenation, this city has one of the best preserved and restored historic centres in Indonesia, with charming streets, colourful neighborhoods, secret alleyways, flower markets, lush gardens and parks, perfect climate and gracious people. With its harmonious blend of multi- culturalism, multi- faiths and multi- backgrounds, the melting pot of Semarang is a true microcosm of Indonesia as a whole, from ancient temples, to ancient churches, monumental museums, all the way to modern-day Middle Eastern-Javanese mosques, showing that the assortment of religious places, are as striking as they are different, and the fact that they all exist in the same city is a true testament to the acceptance, harmony and appreciation for diversity of Semarang. Amazing, thank you Up-Peak hotel, and it's welcoming staff.

Position of the hotel is good. It is close to the mall, then Toko Oen, then Loenpia Mbak Lien, then also walking distance to Soto Bokoran that is delicious. Room is big enough & clean. I did not try the Breakfast as I went to have breakfast outside.

It is an excellent option. Location is quite central, so you can move fast from everywhere. The service was very nice, and all the people were super helpful. Finally, the breakfast... it is absolutely worthy... In many good hotels you have the same buffet... not here. Here has delicious varieties of local and international food, where you can feel in each option that they really care about the client. Delightful.
